"So you and Felix?" Ruby smirks at me from the other end of the couch
"Stop" i blush
"It just took you two long enough" she smiles proudly
"What about you?" I smirk at her changing the subject to her
"What about me?" She tucks a piece of hair behind her ear and look everywhere but at me
"Do tell?" I say excited
"Nothing to tell" she shakes her head
"Fine we won't talk about it" I surrender
"Thank you" she breathes a sigh of relief
"Is it Trevor?" I laugh
"Hazel!" She laughs
"I'll stop" I'll find out who "okay back to what we are supposed to be doing" I say looking back at the note
"Good luck" Ruby gives me a small smile
I get my phone out and dial the number, I take a deep breath and call. I bring the phone to my ear and listen to the phone ring, I almost don't think anyone's going to answer until I hear a click, then a guy's voice comes on.
"Hello?" Some guy says, he sounds somewhat young but not that old either
"Hi is this Charlie?" I ask hoping it is, whoever Charlie is
"Is this is he. How did you get this number?" He asks me
"Um I'm actually a friend of Daisy" I say and he goes quiet "you still there?" I ask since he hasn't said anything and hoping he hasn't hung up
"Yes" he clears his throat "who is this?" He asks me
"My name is Hazel." I tell him
"O" he says in a way that he knows my name "I can't really talk right now"
I try not to get disappointed "is there anyway we could meet up maybe" I say hoping he'll say yes
"Uh sure" he agrees "is tomorrow alright?"
"Yes. There's a coffee shop in downtown" I start saying
"U know the place" he tells me "I can meet you there about 5 after I get off work"
"Okay see you then. Bye" I say and we hang up
"Did you find out anything?" Ruby asks me
"Not really but he said he would meet me" I tell her
"What if he has something to do with Daisy disappearance" Ruby asks out loud
"I don't know anymore" I sigh
After Ruby left I go and read some of Daisy diary.
Dear diary,
so I finally decided what to put in the box. Some of those old photos and my old teddy bear that I carried around all of my childhood, I know it's going to a good home. I put in a book that I thought Ruby would like since it's my favorite book, I put it in the box hoping maybe Felix will see it and then give it to Ruby and maybe we could all slowly be friends again. I also put a couple other things in the box that they will understand in time. - Daisy
