Me and Ruby go to her house neither one of us wanting to be alone.
"Are you sure it's alright?" I ask Ruby not wanting to intrude
"It's fine" she says as she opens the front door
"Ruby is that you?" I hear Ruby mother say
"Yes mom it's just me and Hazel" she says
Ruby mom comes into the living room and smiles at me, she looks like an older version of Ruby. "Well hello Hazel it's been a long time"
"Yes it has" I say not really good with small talk
"Your welcome to over anytime" she smiles and then walks back to the kitchen
We go to Ruby room which I haven't been in here in forever and it actually looks the same, she still has her doll collection out on display and books everywhere and her desk and lots of pink.
"You can seat" she says
"Thanks" I say as I sit in her desk chair
"So is Felix living with you or?" Ruby asks me all of a sudden
"No he just stayed with me a few nights but he's back home" I say a little sad because I actually enjoyed his company and hate knowing I'll be all alone again
"That was nice of him" she gives me a small smile
"Yeah he's protective" I nod
"I've been thinking" she says out loud
"You thinking?" I smirk because she's the smartest person I know
"Why would Daisy ask for me to turtor her she's making As in every subject"
"Maybe she didn't understand something" I shrug
"No while I was tutoring her she already seemed like she knew everything"
"What did you two talk about?" I ask
"Well mostly about school and where I wanted to go to college and that she missed me and all of us" she says sadly
"Maybe she just wanted to spend time with you" I tell her
"Maybe" she sighs
But that is strange for Daisy to want to be tutored when she is almost as smart as Daisy.
