Our missing friend

Chapter 22

I drag Felix to the side of the school to talk to him before class.

"I don't smoke" he smirks

"I know goody two shoes" I smirk back "anyway in Daisy diary she says her secret boyfriend is in our classes and her group of friends is friends with his group"

"That narrows it down" he scoffs

"Do you know the group of guys that her friends hangout with?" I asks

"Uh there's Josh, Michael, Cole and tony" he says naming them

"Okay" I don't really know any of them just seem them in our classes

"Did she give any hints so we will know which one?"

"No she making this really difficult" I sigh

"Good luck I'll keep a eye out" he says putting his hand on my arm in a comforting way

"We better go to class I don't want you to be late and damage that perfect attendance of yours" I laugh

He nudges my shoulder "come on rebel"

We walk into class, he goes and sits with his friends while I sit in the back.

I see tony the class goof ball who can't be still for more than a minute.

Then Cole who sitting across Felix, he's on the football team and actually hotter than Felix, he's the tough guy but not a bully even though he looks like he could kill you if you say the wrong thing.

I don't see the other guys in the class. I guess I'll try to look for them later.

At my locker I look over at Josh flirting with every freshman walking by, he can't be it.

I look at the last name on the list Michael but he can't be it either he's been dating Anna since freshman year and you can tell there in love.

I groan in annoyance and put my head against my locker.

"You okay hazel?" Ruby asks me

"Just dandy" I mumble

"Come on it lunch" she grabs my hand and leads me toward the cafiteria and I let her not even putting up a fight.

We sit down at a empty lunch table.

"Ladies" Trevor says as he sits down

I look and see Felix holding a lunch tray, we make eye contact but some jock calls his name he gives me a small smile before walking to their table.

"So did you figure out the boy yet?" Trevor asks me

"no" I say dramatically "there's Michael who been in love with Anna since freshman year, Tony the class clown, Josh who flirts with anyone that has boobs, and Cole the tough guy of our school"

"So Michael and josh are off the list" Ruby says

"Maybe Daisy thought tony was funny" Trevor shrugs taking a bite of his sandwich

"No one think Tony's funny but tony" I shake my head

"I don't think it could be Cole he's kind of scary and always looks grumpy" Ruby whisper like he's going to hear us

"But he's the only one left that's even the smallest possibility" Trevor says

I look over at him eating at the same table as Felix.

he doesn't seem like someone Daisy would date she's always smiling and I've never even seen him show his teeth. She looks like she rescues kitten from trees and he looks like he eats kittens for breakfast.

I see him get up and leave the cafeteria.

"This is my chance and if I don't come back one of you better come look for me" I point at them

"I'll time it" Ruby nods seriously

"Good luck. Don't make eye contact with him he'll probably attack" Trevor says with a thumb up

I walk out of the cafeteria, I think he went into the bathroom.

I wait outside the door.

He pees slow.

He walks out of the bathroom not even noticing me.

"Hey buddy" I call out

He stops and turn around looking at me confused

"Yeah you since your the only one in the hall" I say sarcastically

"Do I know you?" He says raising a eyebrow, I can tell he doesn't want to talk to me

"No but we have a mutual friend" I say as I walk in front of him

"And that is" he sighs

"Daisy" I breath out as I watch his face closely

I watch him try to control his emotions on his face but I saw it for one second some kind of emotion before he masked it.

"You knew her right?" I ask since he hasn't said anything

"Everyone knows Daisy" he says looking down

"It sad what happened to her"

"Are we done" he clenches his jaw

"No." I sigh getting to the point "were you and Daisy together?"

"Who do you think you are!"he says getting in my face

"Daisy friend" I say getting in his face

"Friend" he scoff "really you haven't even talk to her since freshman year"

"And how would you know that" I glare "were you or were you not been seeing Daisy in secret"

"I don't have to tell you anything!"

I can tell he's trying to control his temper.

"What's going on here" I hear Felix voice

He walks up to us getting in between me and Cole

"Do We have a problem Cole?" Felix asks him

"Stay away from me" he points at me and walks away shaking his head
