I go around to the side of the school, all everyone is talking about is Daisy.
So I came out here needing a break.
"Hey" I say to zero as I walk over to him
"What's up" he says lighting a cigarette
"Nothing. Give me one" I say gesturing to his cigarettes
He hands me one and lights it for me.
"Thanks" I say as I take a puff
"So you hear about that Daisy girl" he shakes his head
I take a puff and nod Not wanting to talk about it.
"Hazel" I turn around and see Felix "when ever your done I'll be in the car " he says I can see him judging me
He walks away.
"What was that about?" Zero asks confused
"He just giving me a ride" I shrug trying to act like it's not a big deal
"So quarterback Felix is just going to give you a ride because?" He raises a eyebrow
"We're neighbors" he nods and smirks
I roll my eyes at him.
"I'll see you later" I say as I put my cigarette down on the ground and crush
"Don't go all preppy on us hazel" zero laughs, I flip him off
I walk over to Felix who is leaning against his car, He looks away when I notice he was staring at me and zero.
"Hey guys" Ruby says walking up to the car
Trevor comes jogging over "I'm here I'm here" Trevor says out of breath
"Ready?" I ask everyone
We all climb into felix car.
"You smell like cigarettes" Felix says in disgust
"Bite me" I smile sarcastically
I hear Trevor and Ruby laugh in the backseat.
"you guys are like a cute old couple" Trevor snickers
"I want a divorce" I say to Felix, He tries not to laugh
"Is your mom okay with us coming over?" Ruby asks me
"Yeah" I say, I see Felix look at me from the corner of his eye
We pull up in my drive way, Felix gets out and grabs the box out of his trunk.
I go and unlock the door.
"I haven't been here in forever" Ruby says
"It look the same from the last time I was here" Trevor says
"You can sit" I tell them
We all sit on the couch,Felix sets the box on the coffee table.
We all just stare at the box.
"I guess we should open it" I say but don't move
Trevor stands up and opens the box slowly.
I see him smile, He pulls out a handful of pictures
"Wow" he says
"Let me see" I say
He hands me the photos and everyone gathers around me.
"O my gosh" Ruby smiles
The first picture is of Ruby and Trevor playing house.
"You look so cute Trevor" Ruby gushes
"Thanks" Trevor says blushing a little
The next photo is of me, Ruby and Daisy all dressed up in princess dresses and with play makeup on.
"I remember that" I say laughing
"We used to have sleepovers every weekend" Ruby says
"I don't think I've ever seen you in a dress hazel" Felix smirks
"Daisy had to force me in it" I laugh
The next photo is of the boys playing outside
"Aww" Ruby comments
"Look you used to be cute Felix" I smile at him
"Now I'm hot" he winks, I playfully roll my eyes
"Remember when we went camping that one time" Trevor says to Felix
"O yeah you hated it" Felix laughs
"I don't know how people enjoy that I mean bugs" Trevor shivers, I laugh
The next one is of me and Felix watching a movie on the couch and holding hands.
"You guys used to be glued to the hip" Ruby says
"Yeah you couldn't find one without the other" Trevor adds
Me and Felix look at each other and give each a small smile.
The last photo is of all of us at Daisy's birthday party. We are all hugging on each other and smiling.
"I can't believe she had the photos still" Ruby says smiling at the picture
"We were so young" I say quietly
"It feels like a thousand years ago" Felix says
