At lunch I go to the side of the school to smoke a cigarette, thankfully nobody's out here.
I hear someone waking towards me but I don't even bother looking not even caring if it's the principle
"Smoking kills" I look behind me and see Felix
I blow smoke in his face.
He coughs and glares at me.
I see Ruby and Trevor walking towards us.
"hey guys" Trevor says he puts his hand in his pockets
"I can't believe it do you think something really happened to her" Ruby says her lip quivering
I look away I can't stand it when people cry.
"I don't know" I shrug
"Have you talk to her?" Felix asks me
"Me? Why me" I ask him
"I saw you guys together Friday night" he says
"I haven't seen her since then and that was really the first time we interacted in along time" I tell them
"Maybe she just at a friends or boyfriends or something" Trevor says
"Maybe we should put up flyers" Ruby suggest
"Like Trevor said she probably at someone's house" I say
"You don't know that though" Felix says back to me
"Why are you guys acting like we all haven't lost touch with her" I accuse
"It doesn't matter what matters is that she's missing" Felix glares at me
"Okay you guys from a posse I'm going" I grab my bag of the ground
"She would do anything for you hazel remember that" I hear Felix say but I don't bother looking back
I don't want to see the disappointment on their face.
