Flashback of Hazel at 10
It was the weekend before school start so we all go over to Daisy house for our annual sleepover, we always have it a Daisy house because it's more fun over there and Daisy house always has the best snacks.
"I don't school to start" Trevor pouts as we sit on the floor of Daisy room
"It won't be so bad" Felix tells Trevor
"I can't wait" Ruby says with excitement and she would be excited for school, she always is.
"At least we are all in the same class" Daisy says looking on the bright side
"I know I'm so happy" I smile
"Hey kids" Daisy mom says as she comes into Daisy room "you all need to start getting ready for bed" she tells us
"Okay" we all say at the same time even though we don't plan on going to sleep yet
The boys lay down on there pallet that Daisy mom made them on the floor while us girls all lay on Daisy bed
After awhile I think most of them are asleep well I know at least Ruby is she's snoring in my ear.
"You asleep Felix?" I whisper
"Nope" he says and he sounds wide awake
"I'm hungry" I tell him
"Let's go to the kitchen" he says
We quietly sneak out of Daisy room and go downstairs to the kitchen, Felix opens the pantry and grabs me and him a cookie from the cookie jar.
"Here you go" he says handing me a cookie
"Thank you" I tell him as I sit down at the counter and Felix sits next to me
We eat our cookie in comfortable silence.
"Hey Hazel?" Felix says all of a sudden
"Yeah" I say as I finish my cookie
"Can I ask you something?" He nervously say
"Of course" I laugh because he can ask me anything
"Can I-" he starts saying but stops and shakes his head
"Spit it out" I tell him
"Well I was wondering I mean you can say no and we don't ever have to tell anyone but" he blabbers
"Felix" I warn him
"Can I kiss you" he finally says and I didn't expect that
"I don't know" I bite my lip because I've never kissed anyone before
"Never mind" he says with a nervous smile and shakes his head
"Okay" I finally say
"Really?" He smiles a huge smile
I turn towards him and I can tell he's nervous so I try to act like I'm not.
I quickly kiss him and I know I'm blushing.
"What are you guys doing?" Trevor says sleepily and he rubs his eyes
"We were eating cookies" I say quickly hoping he didn't see anything
"Can I have one?" He asks
