I quickly walk back downstairs not wanting to spend to much time in Daisy room and get caught.
"Sorry about that" I say as I sit back on the couch
"Thank you girls again for coming by it means a lot to us" Daisy mom tells us
"Of course we are really sorry about what's happened" Ruby tells her
"Me too" she says
"Are there any leads?" I ask
"Uh they don't want to discuss the case" she shakes her head "I just want to find her and bring her home" she says with a quivering lip and tears in her eyes
"If there's anything we can do please just let us know" I say and look down at my hands because if I look at her for one more second I'm going to lose it
"I will and I wanted to ask you girls something" she says
We look at her both of us not knowing what she's going to say.
"When was the last time you talk to Daisy?" She asks us
"We hadn't really talk to her much since freshman year" I tell her honestly
"I just wanted to know" she nods "well I actually have to run a few errands but it was nice seeing you girls"
"It was nice to see you too" Ruby says and we head for the door
We walk back to Ruby car and sit there, both on the verge of tears.
"That was intense" I sigh
"I feel so bad for her" Ruby says
"Did you find anything?" She asks me
"Not really there was so much stuff in her room and I didn't want to spend a lot of time in there" I say a little dissapionted
"Maybe if Daisy did run away she doesn't want to be found" Ruby suggest
"Maybe" I say but I don't think I could just go on like normal when I have no idea what happened to her
