I do my normal morning routine and then head to school.
I find Ruby before lunch.
"Hey" I say as I walk up to her
"O hey" she says a little confused
"Are you about to go to lunch?" I ask
"Yeah"
"Great I need a favor" I smile sweetly
"Anything" she says
"I'm going To go talk to Daisy friends" I tell her
"Okay? And what do you need me to do?"
"I need you to come with me. Felix said you were less scary" I smirk
"You talk to Felix about this?" She asks me
"Yeah he thought it was a good idea" I shrug
"Okay let's go" she smiles
I walk into the lunch room, I haven't been in here in forever.
I see Daisy old table where her friends are sitting at.
I take a deep breath and walk up to their table, they don't notice me so I make a noise but nothing.
"Hello" I say their heads all snap to me
"Uh hi?" One of the girls say I think her name is Candice "mind if I sit" Ruby sits next to me
I see them all look at the other confused.
"Have you heard from Daisy?" A girl named Vanessa says
"That's what we were going to ask you" Ruby says
"Nobody's heard from her since she's gone missing" Candice says
"Did she say anything before like she was in trouble or she wanted to runaway?" I ask them
"No she didn't talk about personal things" Vanessa says
"But you guys were friends?" I say confused
"Yeah we were friends but she didn't really talk about personal things" she shrugs
"Did she have a boyfriend?" Ruby asks
"Not that we know of" Candice shrugs
I look up to see heather slam her lunch tray dramatically on the table.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be outside with the rest of the freaks" she spats in my face
"We were just asking Candice and Vanessa some questions about Daisy"Ruby says timidly not wanting to make heather mad
"They don't know anything so you can leave!"
"Excuse us for trying to find our missing friend" I say and get in her face
"So are you Nancy Drew now?"
"What's your problem?" I glare
"I can see why Daisy stop being friends with you, your a loser and that's all your ever going to be. I think that was the only smart thing she ever did"
"Come on hazel let's just go" Ruby says tugging on my sleeve like a kid
"Bitch" I mutter in her face and storm off
I notice everyone was watching us two argue but I really don't care I'm sure they will take her side.
