"Good morning" I great my parents
"Good morning pumpkin" my dad ruffles my hair making me giggle
"You wants some pancakes?" my mom asks me
"No I'm fine" I tell her
"You need to eat hazel" she says in a motherly voice
"I will I will" I tell her "can I go outside and play?" I do my best puppy dog eyes
"I don't know" mom says
"O come on let her go outside" my dad says to her
"O alright. Go have fun" she smiles
I don't have to be told twice, I run out that door.I run over to Felix house.
I knock on the door
Felix mom answers it "hello hazel everyone's out back" she tells me
Every weekend we all take turns going to the other person house, this weekend it's Felix turn.
"Thanks" I say as I run pass her and run outside
"I'm here" I yell
"Hazel" Daisy says running to me and hugging me "let's go play"
I notice the boys are playing the dirt probably looking for bugs
"Hey Ruby" I say as I see her
She's has her hair in piggy tails and her glasses on
"Hi hazel finally your here" she laughs
We climb up into Felix tree house
"My birthday coming up" Daisy squeals
Her eighth birthday is next week.
"Are you having a party?" Ruby asks her
"Yes but only you, hazel, Felix and Trevor are coming I just want my best friends to come" she giggles
"I can't wait" I clap my hands together
"Boo!" I hear behind us making all of us scream
I then hear Trevor and Felix laughing.
"Not funny boys" I fold my arms and pout
Felix hugs me "I'm sorry hazel we were just playing"
I smile at him "don't do that again" I point at him
He smiles like he's glad I forgave him "I pinky promise"
"The looks on you guys faces" Trevor still laughing
"What are you guys doing?" Felix asks us
"Talking about my birthday" Daisy tell them
"Is there going to be chocolate cake?" Trevor asks Daisy getting excited
"Of course" she says
"YAY!" He throws his hands in the air making Ruby giggle
We play for a couple hours until our parents come get us, we tried hiding but they still found us.
After dinner I run up to my room.
"Felix are you there? Over" I say through the walkie talkie
"I'm here. Over" he says
"I wish we could go outside and play. Over" I say
"Me too but we can tomorrow. Over"
"I can't wait till Daisy party. Over"
"Me too you guys better not put make up on us again. Over"
I giggle "you make one ugly girl. Over"
He laughs "your a pretty one" I think I hear him say or something like that
"What? Over" I say
"Nothing. I'll see you in the morning so I can walk You to school. Over"
"Okay nighty night my Felix. Over"
"Goodnight my hazel. Over and out"
