Every since me and zero went out that time we been hanging out a lot more which I'm kind of glad because he's really cool and an actual nice guy.
"So I see you dyed your hair" I comment as we hangout at the side of the school and now his usual black hair is now sliver but it looks good surprisingly
"Yeah I was left alone for an hour" he laughs
"Hazel?" I hear my name being called and I look and see Ruby looking a little uncomfortable probably from all the outcast hanging out, who do honestly look a little scary from all the piercing and tattoos and grunge appearance
"Ruby join us" I wave her over and she reluctantly walks over
"Ruby this is zero" I introduce
"Hello" she says as she pushes her glasses to her face
"Nice to meet you" he smiles and takes a puff from his cigarette
I watch as Ruby nose scrunches up from the smell making me laugh a little. "O sorry" he says seeing the look on her face and throwing his cigarette down on the ground and crushing it with his boot
"So you are one of Hazel famous childhood friends" he smirks at Ruby who blushes a little bit
"Um yeah we've known each other our whole lives basically" she nods
"Well I guess opposites attract" he laughs since me and Ruby couldn't be more different
"What are you talking about our little Ruby is more hardcore than you know" I say and put an arm around Ruby shoulder
"O yeah?" He raises an eyebrow
"O yeah I taught Hazel everything she knows" Ruby jokes and zero laughs
"Well I hate to cut this banter short but Ruby giving me a ride home so" I say
"I'll see you two tomorrow. it's was nice to meet you Ruby" zero gives her a wink and walks off to his friends
We get in the car and drive out of the parking lot.
"He was nice" Ruby comments
"Yeah he might seem like he's all tough but he's actually a sweetheart" I say
"After I drop you off I have to go by Daisy house" Ruby says all of a sudden
"What? Why?" I ask confused
"Because I ran into Daisy mom this morning and she asks me if I could drop off this box" she points to the back seat "to her house"
I lean over to the back and open the box and pull out one of a flyer with her picture on it, she looks so happy always smiling and always making sure she looked perfect with her professional looking makeup and her short dark brown hair and bangs.
"I'll go with you" I say
"Are you sure?" She asks
"Yeah" I nod
