As soon as I saw the sun rise, I got dressed and packed my bags.
"I got the coffee" Ruby says and gives us all one as we climb in Felix car
"Do you really think she's there?" Trevor asks me
"I don't know" I shake my head "but she loved that place even though she only went there maybe twice she said she wanted to live there. Plus no one would look for her there" it's been abandon for years and almost un live able
"It's worth a try" Felix says as he get on the road
"Did you tell Cole?" Ruby asks me from the back seat
"No I didn't want to get his hopes up" I tell her as I stare out the window. No one knows about our little road trip, just us four. No point in telling anyone if she's not there
"Okay what if she is there. Then what?" Trevor says all of a sudden
"What do you mean?" Ruby says not understanding
"What if she doesn't want to come back with us? Do we force her too? Do we call the police or her parents?" He says and I honestly haven't thought about that. What if she doesn't want to be found? I can't just leave her there not now.
"Then I'll stay" I speak up and everyone looks at me
"What do you mean you'll stay?" Felix asks me confused
"If she won't come back then I'll stay with her" there's no one beside them that would really worry and plus I don't have a parent that's going to wonder where I'm at. The school won't really care and I'll just get my ged or something.
"Then I'm staying too" Felix tells me
"Your parents aren't going to let you" I tell him the truth
"Well I'm not just going to leave you there" he says like I'm crazy
"If anyone should stay with her it's Hazel" Ruby says agreeing with me actually surpising me
"But school-" Trevor says like he's trying to come up with an excuse "yeah Hazel should stay if anyone going too, but we should at least try to get her too come home" he sighs
I'm not leaving Daisy there all by herself if she is there.
"How much longer?" Ruby asks Felix
"Couple more hours" Felix says as he takes a sip of his monster drink
I forgot how far this cabin was.
All I can think about is when we do get the cabin what is going to happen?
