I'm honestly really nervous about going over to daisy's house I haven't been there in years or even seen or talked to her parents in years. I don't know what we're going to say when we get there I might just let Ruby do all the talking.
The one time I want the school day to go by slow it just flew by.
I go over to my locker and grab something out of it, I feel a light tap on my shoulder, I look behind me to see Ruby smiling up at me.
"Hey you almost ready?" She asks me
"Yeah" I nod, I close my locker and follow her outside to the parking lot
I open her passenger door and see a tin probably filled with cookies in it on the seat.
"I thought we should bring something" she says
"Good idea" I tell her and pick them up and set them on my lap
"So I was talking to Trevor this morning and he gave me a good idea" I start saying
"Trevor came up with a good idea?" She laughs
"I know right" I joke "anyway your going to distract daisy's parents while I go upstairs to her bedroom and look around and see if I can find clues or something that might tell us where she could possible be"
"I don't know if daisys parents would like that" she shakes her head
"That's why I'm going to need you to keep them downstairs and just distract them for a little while"
"How?" She says as she makes a left turn
"Your good at talking to people just talk about anything" I shrug
"I don't know" she mutters probably scared we will get caught
"We need to do this if there's possibly anything in her room that could in the smallest chance help us find her" I tell her
"Your right" she agrees
"We won't get caught and if we do I'll take the fall or I'll just lie my way out of it I'm good at that" I tell her
"I'll make sure they don't go upstairs" she tells me
"Thank you" I give her a small smile
We pull up in front of Daisy house, all these memories I have here come rushing back but I try not to think about it otherwise I'll start crying but at least there all good memories.
"You ready?" I ask Ruby
"Yes" she nods and we open the car doors
