I woke up at 5:30 and had breakfast. Spencer picked me up and we head to surf spot her dad used to bring her to.
Spencer: so what brings you to LA?
Me: the ESPY's
Spencer: are you nominated?
Me: no in the pre-ceremony they are awarding me the Gatorade National Female and girls Soccer player of the year
Spencer: Congratulations, so what about the Olympics?
Me: well considering they release the roster today I'll go ahead and tell you. Both Kelley and I made the roster
Spencer: awe yay I can't wait to watch you guys
Me: thank you.
We surfed for hours and then went to lunch. Spencer dropped me off back at my hotel and I had a dress fitting. I decide on the last dress I tried on and they only had to make one alteration. The roster released at 3 and I sent out a tweet.
Me: Blessed and honored to be a part of Team USA and to represent my country in Rio!
For the rest of the day I watched tv and had dinner before going to bed.
