Tuesday
I woke up at 7 and got dressed. Lydia made me breakfast and then I got my bags. Since Brad was at football his mom, Sarah, drove me to the airport. I checked my bags in and then went through security. I boarded my plan and went to Dallas. I landed at 11:52 and had a 3-hour layover before going to Kansas City. I landed at 4:30pm and a staff member picked me up and brought me to the hotel. I walked in and it was just Jill.
Jill: Hey Baby Horse, you're rooming with Kelley in 1608.
Me: okay thank you
Jill gave me my room key and I went to my room. I opened the door and Kelley ran to me. I caught Kelley and then we both unpacked a little. When went down to dinner and when we walked in Hope had her back turned to us. I ran and jumped on her back.
Me: Hopey!
Hope: really Baby Horse?
Me: always
Hope: get off and go get your plate before I drop you on the floor.
Me: party pooper.
Kelley and I got our food and sat down with our group. We all caught up and ate. Alex and Allie hosted movie night and then we all went to bed.
Wednesday
Kelley and I woke up at 6:30 and went to breakfast. After we ate we got our gear on and loaded the bus. We put on our cleats and did warmups. We worked on defensive drills and then scrimmaged a little. We went back to the hotel and had lunch.
Dawn: hey Baby Horse I need you after training
Me: okay
We finished eating lunch and then had an hour break. We loaded the bus back up and went to the field. We warmed up and then did attacking drills. Two hours later we got our cool down and then went to the hotel. I found Hope and then Dawn so she could take my blood. Once I was finished we went to dinner.
Alex: Baby Horse how was your high school camp?
Me: it was good but felt like forever.
Ash: it was your last one
Me: yeah I know it was kind of sad on the last day
I finished eating and then went to shower. Kelley and I watched Grey's Anatomy and then went to bed.
