30 minutes before we landed Hope woke me up.
Hope: alright Baby Horse back to your seat.
Me: I don't wanna
Hope: but you gotta, I'll pay for your coffee
Me: ooh okay
Hope: wake up Squirrel please.
I went back to my seat and woke up Kelley. We landed in Sao Paulo at 7 and found a spot where Dawn and Jill could talk to us.
Jill: good morning ladies before you run off, we will meet back here at 8:15.
Dawn: I know you all will be getting coffee but make sure you eat something too. Baby Solo I need you
Hope: I'll go get your coffee
Me: thank you, yes mam?
Dawn: I already have breakfast arranged for you so follow me.
I followed Dawn to a breakfast place and they already had my food ready. Dawn paid and then went back to our meeting place. I opened the bag and I had fruit, yogurt, eggs, toast, and bacon. I started eating and Hope sat down with my coffee.
Me: ew is this decaf?
Hope: yes
Me: what did I do to receive this cruel torture
Hope: remember the last time you had coffee on a trip?
Me: oh yeah
Hope: your welcome
Me: uh huh
I finished my food and threw away my trash. On my way back I noticed a group of people around my age group juggling with a soccer ball. I walked up and asked if I could join. The group spoke Portuguese but understood enough to let me in. We kept it going for a while. Once we dropped we would just start again. We had just restarted when Hope called.
Hope: Savannah Blaire come on before we're late
Me: I'm coming, bye thank you guys.
I ran over and grabbed my bag and pillow from Hope. We took another team picture and then boarded our final flight. It wasn't long as the first one and we landed at 3. We got off and went to baggage claim.
Once we got all of our bags we loaded the bus and went to the hotel. We stopped in the lobby and to get room assignments and room keys. I was with Hope again in 816. We settled in and I set up my desk while Hope set up hers. We had and early dinner at 5:30 and then we were free for the night. After we ate Hope and Ali played cards with Ash, Kelley, Alex, Tobin and I so we wouldn't fight. We played for a couple hours and then went to our own rooms.
It was around 8:30 so Hope and I showered. We put on a movie and got in bed. After the movie ended I shut off the lights and then settled back in.
Hope: not that it bothers me but why don't you want to sleep alone?
Me: honestly, it makes me feel safe and this is going to sound creepy but the skin to skin contact calms me.
Hope: that actually isn't as weird as you think.
Me: thank you for letting me
Hope: of course, good night Baby Horse
Me: good night Hopey
