Hope woke me up at 6:40 and we went down to breakfast. We had recovery this morning so I had an ice bath, massage, and then a stretch workout. By the time I finished it was time for lunch so I got my plate and sat down.
Alex: I read a tweet today and it was asking where Baby Horse was off the field
Me: Hope locks me away
Hope: like I even could
Ash: you'd find a way out
Kelley: she wouldn't have to because I break her out
Me: squirrel my hero
We all laughed and finished eating. We cleared our table and then got our bags from our room. Once we loaded the bus up, we headed to the airport and boarded. We landed in Brasilia around 7 and headed to the hotel. Hope and I put our things in the room and then came back down for dinner.
We ate and then movie night was in Ali and Ashlyn's room. Hope carried me to bed and then fell asleep herself.
THURSDAY
Hope and I woke up at 6:30 and got dressed. We ate breakfast and then went to training. We did a couple of drills and then we were able to work on individual things. After training we had the stadium walkthrough. We took pictures and then headed back to the hotel. Hope and I went to Beck and got ice and wrapped on.
Hope: lunch time come on Baby Horse
Me: easy for you to say you don't have ice on your ankle.
Hope: you whiny baby hop on
Me: thank you
Hope: uh huh
Hope carried me to lunch and we got our plates. We ate and then took our ice off before going to our room. We watched Simone Biles and Aly Raisman with the gold and silver in the Floor Final. Most of us tweeted them when we went to dinner.
Movie night was in Sonnet and Pinoe's room. I stayed awake this time and a lot of the girls teased me. Hope and I went back to the room and showered before getting ready for bed. I turned off the light and climbed into bed.
Me: do you think I did the right thing?
Hope: are you talking about coming to Brazil?
Me: yeah
Hope: I would've done it but we're alike in that way so what do you think?
Me: I don't know. Why do you think I asked you.
Hope: rude, but only time will tell
Me: yeah I guess
Hope: good night Baby Horse
Me: goodnight Hopey.
