Hope and I woke up at 6:30 and went to breakfast. After eating we got our training gear and changed before going to the gym. The session was pretty tough and then we had recovery. I did pool recovery first and then Kelley and I had ice baths. We were supposed to do yoga next but Kelley disappeared and Ash came instead.
*5 minutes before*
Kelley: Ash I need a favor
Ash: oh lord what is it?
Kelley: will you go to yoga with Baby Horse?
Ash: uh uh no way
Kelley: please
Ash: why can't you tell her you're not going
Kelley: because I have to go meet my parents
Ash: oh
Kelley: yeah oh so please go before she comes looking for me
Ash: fine but you owe me.

Ash came in right as we were starting. I whispered over to Ash as she sat down.
Me: where's squirrel?
Ash: she..
Instructor: no talking!
We stopped and continued stretching. The class lasted for an hour and then we were free to go. Ashlyn left as soon as she could so I didn't get to ask her again. I brushed it off and went to my room.
Hope: shower and then were are going to lunch
Me: uh okay
I showered quickly and then got dressed in my black crop top and my jean shorts. I tied my flannel around my waist and put on my black converse. I grabbed my watch and phone on the way out. Hope and I walked for a bit and then stopped at a place called station 4. We got seated and then ordered. I had a Caesar salad without dressing and a ham and cheese sandwich. Hope had a turkey sandwich.
Hope: have you texted your sister back?
Me: no, why?
Hope: you need to, she's going through your moms things and needs to know if you want to keep anything.
Me: why, of all times why now?
Hope: they can't put their life on hold just because she's gone or because your away.
Me: I get that but it's only been like 3 days!
Hope: have you cried yet?
Me: what?
Hope: have you cried, like you know when liquid comes from your eyes.
Me: I'm surprised you know what that is but no I haven't
Hope: that's what I thought
Me: what does that have to with anything?
Hope: foods here
Our food was set in front of us and we started eating. Hope and I talked about my school season coming up. We finished and then went to the hotel. Hope and I got back and as she told me too I texted my sister. My sister said she was laying everything out and would send me photos. I shut my computer down and packed my backpack.
I put in my computer, my headphones, book, my wallet, my make-up bag, and my snacks. At 5:30 we started loading the bus. We all had on our black Nike pants, navy Olympic shirts, and jackets. Tobin, Kelley, Ash, and I all had on our snapbacks. We got to the airport at 6 and unloaded. We got our suitcases and checked in.
As a team we had the quick pass but sometimes they will randomly choose someone to go through regular security. Of course they chose me.
Me: your freaking kidding me
Kell: awe poor Baby Horse
Me: well if I'm going then take my pillow and blanket please.
I handed them over and walked over to the line. I took off my shoes, phone, hat, and my backpack. I put them in the bucket and sent them through. I walked through the detector and it beeped.
Me: that was my watch
Guy: mam step over here please. You don't oppose to a pat down do you?
Me: no of course not.
I got a very through pat down and then was able to get my stuff. I made it back to the team and they were all laughing.
Ash: enjoy that pat down?
Me: I swear he just got to second base
We all laughed and walked to our gate. We took photos and then boarded. We were all in first class and it was set up with 1 facing the front on the left, 2 facing the back in the middle, and then 2 facing the front on the right. Our row was Hope on the left, Kelley and I in the middle, and then Ali and Ash on the right. We took pictures and then settled in.
We finally took off around 8:30. Once we leveled out we were able to connect to Wi-Fi. My sister sent pictures and I went through them. I only said to keep 3 shirts for me. Once it hit 12 we sang Happy Birthday to Ali. Since it was late we had to be quiet and we couldn't film it. After we sang I watched Southpaw on my watch before I started getting restless. Everyone was either asleep or trying to be.
Hope: Baby Horse were a couple hours in and you're already restless
Me: yeah I know
Hope: why don't you sleep?
I just looked over at her and she understood. Hope moved a couple things and then leaned her seat back as far as it could.
Hope: come on, you can fit
I got out of my seat and went over. I was half on the seat and half on Hope. As soon as I was settled I was out.
