I woke up at 5:15 and went to get my workout. I came home and showered quickly. Brad picked me up and drove me to the airport. We said goodbye and I went to my gate. About 20 minutes later I boarded my plane. I finally made it to Chicago at 10:30 and got to the hotel around 11.
Kelley: Baby Horse!
Me: Squirrel!
Kelley caught me and then Hope walked in.
Hope: I'm glad to see that you two are not on the ground
Me: hey Hopey
Hope: hey Baby Horse, oh Dawn wants to see us or rather you but I have to be there.
Me: alright first who am I rooming with?
Kelley: Ashlyn in 618
Me: thank you. I will meet you outside my door in 20 minutes and then we can go
Hope: okay
I went up to my room and talked to Ashlyn while I unpacked a little. Hope was waiting and then we went to find Dawn.
Dawn: Baby Horse good to see you. How did the drinks go?
Me: great I have enough to make my last drink today
Dawn: good well lets weigh you and then take some blood.
I stepped on the scale and it still read 110. Hope glared at me a little but still held my hand while Dawn took my blood.
Dawn: well so for the plan worked on keeping you the same. I'll get the results back tomorrow. Until then we'll keep everything the same.
Me: okay thank you
Hope and I walked out and went to the lobby.
Hope: so you never told me about UNC
Me: it was good. I got to meet some of the current players and I met Anson and got a tour of the campus
Hope: well I'm glad you liked it
Me: okay just ask what you want to know already
Hope: dang you're good, but were your parents' home?
Me: I saw my mom for a couple days at home but my dad is still gone. It's been a little over 4 months but I talked to him a little but last week.
We talked in the lobby until it was time for lunch. We ate and the Alex and Ali wanted to go shopping so they dragged Ashlyn who dragged me. We walked around and then went into Hollister. We looked around and then we decided to try on jean shorts, well all of us except Ashlyn. Ali grabbed a 3 & 5 while Alex and I grabbed a 1 & 3. We went to the fitting rooms and tried them on.
Ali: the 3 fit me in the waist but the 5 fit my thighs without making them look suffocated
Alex: same with mine so I'm getting the 3
Me: uh hey Ash.
Ash: yeah
Me: will you go get me a 0?
Ash: sure
Ash came back with a 0 and 00. I tried them on and asked which one looked better.
Ali: I liked the first pair
Alex: yeah me too
Me: a 0 it is then
Ash: are you getting tops to match?
Ali: duh
We looked around and found tops. We checked out and headed back to the hotel. We ate dinner and then had movie night before going to bed.
