I woke up at 6:25 and crawled in next to Ashlyn. I put my face right in front of hers and once she woke up she screamed.
Ash: holy shit! Baby Horse that was so creepy.
Me: me 3 you 1
We got out of bed and changed before going to breakfast. I grabbed my plate and sat down. Hope was staring me down since I walked in.
Me: what?
Hope: you didn't tell me you were leaving
Me: Hope I'm 17
Hope: Savannah I don't care, you missed your scheduled ice time for your ankle
Me: oh
Hope: yeah oh so guess what you get to do after our afternoon session today.
Me: what?
Hope: sprints
Me: what come on
Hope: do you want to give me your phone instead?
Me: no
Hope: then I will see you after training and next time you'll tell me when you leave
Me: fine
We finished breakfast and then went to the gym. We finished our rotations and then went to lunch. Kelley and I ate and then went up to her and Ali's room. Kelley had sweetarts and Mike & Ikes stashed. We ate the candy and watched Netflix. When it was time to go to training we grabbed our bags and headed to the lobby. We came around the corner and someone grabbed me.
Me: ah put me down!
Ash: me 2 you 3 I'm catching up.
Me: Ashlyn!
Ali: Ashlyn Harris put Baby Horse down
Ash: fine
Ash put me down and we loaded the bus. We put on our cleats and did warmups. We did a couple of possession drills and then split up to do 5v5. Jill called practice and Hope came over to me. Hope grabbed a water bottle and the back of my shirt pulling me with her.
Hope: you have 10, 100 yard sprints
Me: really, Hope come on
Hope: I'll add on more if you don't like it.
Me: oh no 10 is great
Hope: then go
I took off and sprinted 50 yards and back. Hope gave me 30 seconds before she said go again. I repeated that 8 more times and then I was finished. We got on the bus and headed back to the hotel. Since Kelley felt bad for me we shared the rest of the sweetarts. As we were getting off Kelley took my phone.
Kelley: let's see if you have another in you
Me: hey give me back my phone!
Kelley took off and I chased after her. I tackled her in the meal room. We wrestled until I got my phone back. Kelley flipped me and eventually we were just rolling on the ground.
Hope: what are you doing!
Me: she took my phone
Kelley: did not!
Me: she totally did
Hope: oh my lord, get up and go get your food.
We did as Hope said and sat down. We ate and Hope kept looking over at us.
Hope: okay what candy did you have Baby Horse?
Me: I haven't...
Hope: your leg had been bouncing since you sat down
Me: fine I had sweetarts
Hope: Savannah, when
Me: on the bus
Hope: you know better than that. I don't want to catch you again.
I didn't say anything back and finished my plate. We all showered and then had movie night. I fell asleep in Kelley's bed and the team just left me there.
TUESDAY
Kelley and I woke up at 8. Since we had the day off we didn't have anywhere to be.
Kelley: what do you say to Netflix all day.
Me: definitely, let's see if someone will bring us breakfast
Kelley: and candy and popcorn.
Me: but who
Kelley: not Hope or Ali who takes out Ash
Me: did you think I wanted to die today?
Kelley: what about Moe?
Me: yes!
Kelley texted Moe and she agreed if we paid for her breakfast too. 30 minutes later Moe came back with chocolate milk, pancakes, bacon and fruit. For candy we got sweetarts, milk duds, mike & Ikes, and recess. We thanked her and then settled ourselves in Kelley's bed. We watched 5 episodes of season 4 of Grey's Anatomy. Someone then knocked on the door.
Kelley: I'll hide the candy you get the door.
Kelley hid all of the candy and then I opened the door.
Ali: hey Baby Horse, Squirrel. I forgot my key
Kelley: oh okay
Ali: well Ash and I are going to pick up lunch from McAlister's and bring it back. Do you want two want anything?
Kelley: yeah will you get me the Orange Cranberry club sandwich with a Caesar salad.
Me: and I want the 4 cheese griller without tomato and the chicken tortilla soup please
Ash: alright we'll be back in like 45 minutes
Kelley: alright
Ali and Ash left and Kelley and I started another episode. The episode ended and then Ali and Ash came back. They gave us our food and then went to mine and Ash's room. Kelley and I continued our Grey's marathon and the rest of our candy. We watched another 5 episodes and then it was a 6:15. We had a mandatory meeting at 6:30.
Kelley and I headed down and found our seats. Hope walked in and sat behind us. Kelley leaned over and whispered to me.
Kelley: you'll think she notice
Me: I hope not
Hope then leaned forward between the two of us.
Hope: I did and I am not happy with you Savannah Blaire.
Hope was cut off by Jill coming in.
Jill: good evening, tomorrow we will have out normal two trainings and then Thursday a morning training and Friday is game day. Beck wants to see Baby Horse, Alex, Tobin, Moe and Hope. That is all.
Kelley: I'll hide the stash
Kelley left and then 5 of us went to see Beck.
Beck: Baby Horse I want to check before along with Moe. Alex ice the knee, Tobin you have compression, and Hope ice and stretches.
The 3 of them set up and Moe and I hopped up on the training tables. Beck looked at Moe and told her ice. Beck came over to me.
Beck: it doesn't look much better, does it feel different?
Me: not really, I'm kind of used to it by now
Beck: well ice and then stretches.
Me: alright
Iiced my ankle and then did my thera band stretches. Once I finished I went backto Kelley's room before Hope could catch me. We watched a couple more episodesand then I went to bed in my own room.
