My life is boring. What much can I say about it?
I go to school, where I get bullied. I go home where I just want to leave.
The only place I feel like myself is at my summer camp.
I've been going there for nine years now. I love it there. It's a home that I can actually call home.
My friends are there, my uncle is there and my boyfriend is there.

In the car with my family is awful. I put my brothers headphones on just so that way I can zone everybody out. My parents listen to their god awful music, my younger brother sits there and complains that it's taking to long to get there, and I just dream about all the fun stuff that will happen at camp.

Thankfully we are just going down the camp driveway now so I can finally get away from this family. We get stuck in a line to find out what cabins my brother and I will be staying in.

Titan, one of the counselors, come up to the car doors and asks for our names.
Wyatt starts talking to Titan about how Titan was his LIT a few years ago.

I gave Titan my name.

"Riley, your in Huckleberry."

I nod. My dad started to park the car. I get out, grab my stuff and start walking away from my family.

" Riley, we need to sign you in and give your medicine." My dad calls.

I turn and wait. My family takes their sweet ass time to catch up to me. I am literally waiting on line to sign up with no parents to sign me up. They finally get to the line and my parents start to get out the paper work.

"Riley? Let's go to cabins. Mom and dad will sign us in." My brothers whispers to me.

I nod and start walking to my counselor.

" Hi my name is Shell and I am you counselor. Would you like me to show you to the cabin?"

" No, I know where it is. I also have to take my brother to his cabin....I'll be fine."

I walk away and towards my brother. He is standing with a first year counselor. You can tell a first year counselor from a mile away. They follow all the rules to the point they aren't fun. Anyways we start walking to his cabin while the counselor talks to Wyatt about camp. We walk into the cabin path where all the cabins are. My brothers cabin is the third one on the left. We walk up the ramp to the cabin and I help my brother with his suitcase. My bright runs in and picks a bed. I look around. There are two others boys there and a counselor turned around taking to one of them. When the counselor heard the site slam close he turned around.

I don't believe in true love, and that's not what happened but I will tell you that I took an interest in this counselor really fast.  I didn't even know his camp name or real name for that matter. All I knew was that I needed to figure this guy out now.

"You must be Wyatt's sister," he announced, "I'm Quantum, I'm the second year counselor in the Pine cabin."

"I'm Riley, I um I'm in the Huckleberry cabin across from here." I stumbled out.

"Cool, so you will be our neighbors then."

He smiled and brought his hand forth to shake mine. I grabbed it and shook. In the few seconds that we shook hands Quantum passed  note into my hand. I looked up and smiled at him. I let go and walk made my way over to where Wyatt was.

"Do you have everything settled? Mom and dad should be here soon so be ready to say goodbye."

Wyatt nods and I left made way to the door. I turned around smiled to Wyatt and Quantum and left.

I lunged my stuff to my cabin and opened the door. Once inside I notice their is only one bed left and its on the bottom bunk. Great. I have a fear of the dark so I like getting the top bunk so that way I can look out the window and see the light outside.

Dropping my bag at the foot of the bed I look around at my cabin mates. All the girls are obviously in grade nine and eight making me the oldest. Even better.

"You must be Riley. I'm Pond, the second year counselor. Tell me something about yourself." The brown hair, short eighteen year old says.

"Well, yea I am Riley and I am antisocial."

She looks at me like I grew two heads. "oh"

She turns around and leaves, leaving me on my own. The door opens and my parents walk in to say good bye. My dad hugs me and tells me to be good and be care. My mom just looks at me, smiles and walks away with my dad. Once they leave Pond tells all of us to come sit to make some rules.

"No cussing." A small girl says from beside me.

"No yelling." Says a tanned blonde girl from across the circle.

"I have a good one," says Pond, "No boys at all."

Everyone compliments Pond on how good the rule is, but all I can do is give them a look that shows that its too late for that rule for me.
