The game just started and my cabin were omnivores, which in this game means that we can attack the green group which are herbivores but we can't attack any other group. At this point everyone was out playing except for the program director Staggie, Ethan and I. We were standing where we were sitting while the rules were being explained. Ethan told the boys to go and play with everyone else and when I got up to play he stayed right next to me.

"Ethan I told you to go play without me, that when I get out I will find you and get you out so we can hang out while the game is still going," I say to him trying to push him in the direction of Cabin Hill where most players are going to be. He grabs on to my wrists and keeps his feet planted where they are.

"I don't want to leave you Ri. You are going to be all alone and you haven't been feeling very well for a number of different reasons and I don't want to leave and something happen to you, so I am staying. We will play this together. I won't go to fast. I will go at the speed you go." He said kind of sternly. I understood where he was coming from but I didn't want to hold him back. I knew that Wyatt and the rest of the boys really liked playing these games with Ethan because Ethan was really fast and was fun competition. I looked Ethan in the eye and noticed that I wasn't going to win this. The determination in his eyes was strong and I knew that he was doing this because he cared about me.

"Fine. Let's go hide in the meadow. Most people forget about that spot being in bounds. The only hard part about getting there is the path to the lodge to get to the meadow. A lot of people hide in that path so they can attack people with out being seen. We will have to be fast, and as easy that is for you it won't be easy for me. And it doesn't help that omnivores only get three lives. I'll lose all three of mine just trying to get through the path." I explain in a doubtful voice. I knew we weren't going to get far with how slow I am. And if I lose a life I pretty know one hundred percent that Ethan is purposely going to lose a life so we are even and get out at the same time.

Ethan turns me around to face him. "Riley don't worry about it. If we get out and don't make it to the meadow, it doesn't matter. I just want to spend time with you. I love you Riley and I don't care if you can't run fast. I wouldn't care about anything you couldn't do. If you could not read I would not care. I love you and your ability to be active doesn't change that."

I looked in his eyes. Something snapped inside my head which was probably caused by my heart and I knew that one thing was for sure. I did not care about this game anymore. I grabbed Ethan's hand making sure I had a good grip on it so that way I could pull him after me. I went up the hill to our cabin, walking up the back stairs and opening the door. Once Ethan was through the door I slammed it closed and pushed Ethan up against the door. I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled it down so I could catch his lips with mine.

Instantly, he reacted by putting his hands on my hips pulling me closer. I reached my hands to the back of his neck so his face was as close as possible to mine. I nibbled his lip so his mouth would open allowing me access with my tongue. We battled for Dominance for what felt like forever until Ethan broke free. His breath was heavy breaths while his forehead was against mind. He looked me in my eyes with a smile on his face. He kissed my nose and took my hands in his intertwining them.

I loved him so much. I could not wait to go home with him where we didn't need to hide this. We could go out and be a normal couple. Go on a date. Hang with friends. And then school comes where Ethan moved schools just so he could be with me. I couldn't wait to introduce himself Jessica or Eve, or my favourite teacher in the whole world, Mr. Ryelett. Sir has been there for me when nobody else was, even my best friend Erza. He was there when I was having a hard time transitioning into grade 9. Now I have Ethan to help me through grade 10 and dealing with my loud and kind of controlling friend Erza.

"What are you thinking about Riley?" Ethan asks curiously.

"School," I reply, " At Henderson there is a teacher named Mr.Ryelett and he was the best teacher I have ever had. He was my English teacher and he helped me transition to high school. My friend Erza was there for me a little bit but she thought that she needed to make new friends and do new things to be popular so a lot of the time she would abandon me. I didn't mind though and she always said she was sorry so I forgave her and when I left for camp we were on good terms. When school starts I want you to meet this teacher. I think you'll love him. And now that I have you I don't have to worry about Erza ditching me because I know you will always be there for me just like I will always be there for you." I explain, while very so often I kiss his lips. I can't get enough of this guy.

"Riley, Erza doesn't sound like such a good friend, but if she does something to you I will be there for you but if she does and I tell you to stay away from her promise me you will, it will help you out. And about this teacher, I would love to meet him when school starts. He sounds like an awesome if he saw the good in you to help you out. That's what I would have done." Ethan says while cuddling me up close to his chest so I could smell the Pine wood smell that I loved so much.

Just as Ethan was going to reconnect our lips we heard yells of game over and looked at each other. I lifted my three orange omnivore cards that represented my lives and waved them at Ethan.

"I guess I survived the game." I said with a grin. He chuckles.

"We both did Angel."
