Summer Love

chapter 8

Quantum follows me farther in the water. Once we get out of ear shot from the girls I turn around and face Ethan.

"You know I didn't mean that right?" I asked scared.

"Sure," he starts, "I mean why wouldn't you like someone closer to you age? Someone who isn't a counselor." You could tell he was frustrated. He was upset because he is as scared as I am that this relationship is going end fast because it is hard considering the circumstances. We are thinking the exact same thing. I go close to him and grab his face with my hands. I bring my lips to his. He stands there not doing anything. I wrap my legs around his waist to help me stay balanced because I am really short compared to him. I let go of his lips because he wont do anything. I kiss his neck. I start sucking on his collarbone. He moans in his throat and that's when he snaps.

He pushes my face back to his and kisses my lips. He bites on my bottom lip and I gasp. I can never get used to that. He slips his tongue in my mouth and our tongues fight for dominance. Obviously he wins because he is more experienced. He puts his hands on my thighs and pulls me closer. I put my hands in his hair and start tugging a bit. One of his hands slowly comes up my side and stops at my chest. I break the kiss and look at him. He gives me a confused look like he doesn't understand.

"What's wrong Riley?" He asked.

"It just surprised me. Its just weird for someone to touch me there." I look down embarrassed. He is older than me. He knows how to do this kind of stuff and is more comfortable doing these things. Me on the other hand, this is the first time I've ever done these kind of things. Its just a little scary. All of a sudden he takes his finger and lifts my chin with it. I look into his eyes,

"Riley, its okay. I forgot. Your a bit younger and this is you first time doing these kind of things. I expected way to much from you. I love you." He says looking in straight in my eyes.

"I love you too." I respond.

All of a sudden a whistle blows and we turn to see the lifeguard waving for everybody to come back. I go behind Ethan and jump unto his back. He walks to the shore and walks to our towels. He puts me down, grabs my towel and puts it around my shoulders. I dry off as much as I can.

When Ethan and I turn to go with our cabins, no body is there. I laugh.

"We have only been here for about 18 hours and my cabin has forgotten me about five times."

Ethan looks at me worried.

"They shouldn't be forgetting about you all the time. For now on when you realize that they are gone find me and my cabin and stay with us. So you will kind of be in two cabins. Maybe for primetime you can work with the Pine cabin."

"Yea sure. My cabin kind of sucks anyways." I give Ethan a hug and tell him to wait for me if he finishes changing first. I walk up to my cabin and go inside. What clothes should a wear, I think to myself. I look through all my clothes and find black short shorts and a grey shirt. I grab my yellow bandana, put it on my head and walk out of my cabin. Ethan is waiting right at the end of the ramp. I catch his eyes and motion him to come over. He looks around to make sure no body is coming and walks up the ramp to me. He wraps his arms around his waist. I tug his arm and open my cabin door, dragging him along with me. I close both doors and turn to him. I wrap my arms around his neck and bring his down to me. His lips connect with mine and I lose it. I jump on to his body and wrap my legs around him. His hands mix in with my wet hair and tugs on it a little. I break the kiss and motion my head to my bed. He understands and goes down to the bottom bunk of the bed letting me straddle him. He breaks the kiss  to take his shirt off. I take my hands and rub his chest getting him to let out a moan. I bite hip bottom lip and tug it a little bit so I can hear moan again. He breaks the kiss and looks at my face. I look down a bit and smile. I love this guy so much but we have only been dating for less than twenty-four hours. Maybe it isn't love but I think that it is.

All of sudden we hear a pair of footprints coming up the ramp. I jump up and throw Ethan his shirt. He puts it on as fast as possible and pretends to be looking for something I lost. I look in my bag for the "thing" I lost. The door opens and Riley walks in. We look up at her and se a smile on her face.

"Let me guess," she says, " You guys are pretending to looking for something Riley "lost" because you thought it was someone else."

I nod. Ethan looks at me surprised. "She knows?!?" he asks.

I nod again. "I've known ever since gaphi. Your letter got out of her bag by accident and I read it. She stopped me from saying anything and told me what was happening. I promised I wouldn't tell anybody."

I look down because I know Ethan told me not to tell anybody because it will his job. Riley sees me upset and comes over and hugs me. Ethan comes out of his shock and sees that I am pretty much crying. "What's wrong Riley?"

"You're probably mad at me because I told Riley which could ruin your job here. Then you would never talk to me ever again."

He laughs. "I would not be angry. I would disappointed because I really like this job but I wouldn't get mad at you. I love you Riley. That doesn't change just like that."

"Anyways," Riley starts, "Lunch is in five minutes, you guys both missed FLASH, but I told both of your cabins that Riley had to go to the nurse to check her ankle again, so no one should be questioning you."
