Summer Love

Chapter 33

I was alone in the bathroom having a panic attack because I was on my period and I was to scared to talk to Ethan about it. Ethan went to go get Riley all the way from the Huckleberry cabin.

All of sudden the door opened and footsteps came near my stall.

"Riley are you okay?" Riley asked.

"No." I said while still crying.

"Are you on your period?" Riley asked.

"Yea, and I am not freaking out about that. The only person here was Ethan and I was trying to tell him but I have a hard enough time asking my mom about this kind of stuff." I said while trying to calm down.

Riley's hand reaches under the stall with a pad. I quickly put it on an finish going to the bathroom. I unlock the stall go to the sink and wash my hands. I then turn around and hug Riley while still crying.

She hugs back and then lets go. "Quantum?" She asks.

"Quantum." I say while nodding. She leaves the bathroom and not a second after Ethan ran in and saw me crying and having a hard time breathing still.

"Riley, listen to my voice. We are going to walk in to the main area of the lodge and sit down okay?" He says softly. I nod. He wraps his arm around waist and with his other hand grabs my hand and leads me to the main area and to a chair. I sit down and he leans down in front of me.

"Okay Angel now, what I want you do is follow my breathing pattern." He whispers. I nod to show I understand. He breathes in for a few seconds and then breathes out for a few seconds. I slowly start to follow suit and slowly get my breathing back to normal. I look at him and smile. I lean down a bit and hug him tightly.

"Riley, if you don't mind me asking, what happened that caused this panic attack?" He asked quietly.

I sighed. "I got my period." He hand gestured for me to elaborate. "I need products to help with it but mine are in the cabin. I needed to ask you but I have a hard enough time asking my mom for that kind of stuff so it was getting really hard for me to get the courage to ask you."

He gets up pulling me with him and hugging me. He leans down and connects our lips together. Slowly our lips move in sync with each other until we both here a door to the lodge open. We break apart quickly and turn to see who it is. At the door is Arctic.

Ethan grabs his bag and walks out the door shoving Arctic's shoulder in the process. I follow Ethan just to stop to look Arctic in the eye.

"What are you doing here? You're a camper, you are supposed to be in bed right now." Arctic spit out.

"Well Quantum was taking me to the washroom. Is there a problem with that?" I asked innocently. I smile at him and walk out the door.

Ethan is standing right outside waiting for me.

"Because you are on your period does that mean you will have to go to the bathroom more." He asks. I nod with a frown. I hate this so much. Why couldn't I have gotten it after camp?

"Okay, I'll go with you every time then. If you need, I can make an alarm for every time you need it." He offers.

I look up to him. "Ethan, I love you. Thank you so much for helping me." I say.

"No problem Angel. Why wouldn't I help?"

We get into the cabin quietly noticing that everybody is sleeping already. I look at my clock to realize that it is 11:35pm. I crawl up and in to my bed. Ethan pops his up.

"Are you sure you don't want to sleep in my bed with me just in case you need to go to the bathroom quickly tonight?" He offers to me.

"Sure. But what if I have an accident in your bed?" I ask nervously.

"Doesn't matter. I'll wash any mess on my break." He replies.

"You have your break tomorrow?" I wonder sadly.

"Yeah, sorry Angel. I have to take this break. But I will be back after an hour." He says.

I nod and get down from my bed cuddling into bed with Ethan.

"Good night Angel."

"Good night Ethan."
