Slowly I opened my eyes to see that I was in a beige coloured room. It was kind of dark and the door was closed. I was lying in a bed. I tried to push myself up but once my back felt the pressure a pain erupted filling my whole body with agony. I gasped with pain and fell back onto the bed. The pain my back felt when it hit the bed was even worse. I held in the scream I had because I knew it would soon leave. I look around the room and see someone sitting in the chair close to my bed. Ethan. His head was hung and resting on his neck. He's sleeping. I look around to see if there is anything I have around me that I can use to wake him up. I find a back scratcher her on the bedside table and use it. I lightly hit Ethan's leg a few times until he starts to stir. He finally comes around and notices that I am awake.
"Hey Angel. How are you feeling?" He asks as he gets out of the chair and comes to sit on the edge of the bed.
"Fine. My back hurts like hell but other than that I am fine." I say with a smile.
He nods. "Do you remember what happened?" I shake my head.
He sighs. "So while we were playing Gaga ball I hit the ball at Shea but it hit the backboard and went for you. You jumped to try and avoid it but instead you landed on it and went kind of flying over the backboard and landed with your back on a rock. You had a gash on your back and you said that your head hurt. Shea told me to take you to the nurse but once I started lifting you up you said you were feeling really dizzy and tired. When I had you completely in my arms you passed out. I quickly walked to the nurse so that way you wouldn't fall. She told me to put you in this bed. She started working on your back which all she needed to do was clean up the gash and wrapped gauze around your abdomen. She said once you wake up that you need to take Advil and then we can go to where we need to be. I got breakfast for the two of us. It's in the kitchen." He explains. He hands me the Advil and water. I take it and slowly try to sit up again.
There is still pain but it was easier to handle then the first time. I grab for Ethan to help me up. He grabs my arm and helps me stand up. We slowly walk out the door and into the kitchen of the nurses office. There are two plates with toast with strawberry jam, bacon and scrambled eggs.
Ethan helps me sit down and then he takes the two plates and sticks them in the microwave. He then opens the fridge and takes out two glasses of orange juice. He places them on the table and then grabs the plates from the microwave.
He sits down after handing me my plate.
"What time is it? Where are we supposed to be right now?" I ask.
"Well actually its lunch time," He starts, "Lunch is almost over and then we have down and out. But I asked the nurse and she said if you were up for it we can take the golf cart on a trip and maybe do something at down and out since you've been in bed all morning."
I smile. "Sure, I would love to."
We finish our breakfast/lunch and slowly make our way to the lodge. When we get in mail call is about to start. We sit on the bench because I insist that we watch.
The thing is I sent a package to Ethan. Its a gift to him that I wrapped yesterday and put his name with hearts on it. I gave it to Sirius telling him to give it to Mercury for mail call. I gave it to Sirius upside down and I guess no one ever bothered to look at the hearts. I want Ethan to be called up because if your a counselor with a package with hearts on it every one starts saying ooooooooo and its really funny and I want to see Ethan embarrassed.
Mercury goes up and starts calling peoples names for there mail. My brother and I get called for our mail and my brother goes up to collect both of our mail not knowing that I'm there. A few more people were called before Ethan.
"Quantum's got a love package!" Mercury cooed. Everybody started making a big deal about it. Ethan looked at me with a weird look and got up to go get the package. He came back with the small little package with his name on it. He started putting it in his bag but I stopped him.
"Why put it away? We can open it while the boys have down and out. Just keep it out." I say.
Once mail time is over we get up and slowly make our way to the boys. All together we make our way to the cabin. Once inside all the boys make their way to their beds. I go over to my bed and grab my Supernatural blanket and a necklace. Ethan puts his bag on his bed, still carrying the package and helps me walk out the door.
"Where are you going?" Wyatt asks.
"Because Riley didn't get to do anything this morning the nurse said we were allowed to go do stuff at down and out. So we will be back before down and out ends." Ethan explains to the boys.
We turn around and leave the cabin. We go over to the garage of the camp and go on the golf kart. Ethan pulls out a set of keys the nurse must have given him. He turns the golf kart on and we started heading down cabin path. We then make our way down to the chapel. Ethan turns off the golf kart and helps me get out. We go sit on one of the benches so that way Ethan can open his package.
