"Bye guys," I say as everyone starts to leave.

After everyone's gone it's just me, Kian, Sam, and Ashley.

"So what do you guys want to do?" Kian asks.

"What time is it?" Sam questions.

"10," Ashley says. "Honestly I think I'm going to go to bed."

"I'm pretty tired too," Sam agrees.

"You know where the guest room is, right?" I ask.

"Yeah."

"Alright you can sleep there."

"Alright, thanks." Sam grabs his things then heads upstairs to the guest room.

"I'm going upstairs too. Night guys," Ashley says as she follows Sam.

"Night," Kian and I both say.

"Well what should we do now?" Kian asks.

"I don't really know. What would you want to do?"

"We could go to the garden like you said earlier."

"Yeah, that sounds good."

I put my shoes on then grab my jacket and follow him outside. Since it's not extremely cold we decide to walk. As we make our way down the sidewalk Kian takes my hand.

"That's really cool that Sam's moving up here," I say trying to spark a conversation.

"Yeah."

"What's Andrea like? I've never really talked to her."

"She's a nice person. I mean I dated her so she could be a completely different person when she's with her friends."

"I know what you mean."

"You really think your family will like me?" Kian questions.

"That was a bit random."

"I mean I'm just nervous."

"Well my dad will need some time to warm up to you, but he's like that with everyone. Overall my mom has liked all my other boyfriends I've brought home so I don't know why she wouldn't like you."

"And your sister and friends?" He asks.

"My sister doesn't really care truthfully. Just as long as you treat me good then you're fine. My friends will like you too. I mean they'll probably be drooling over you the whole time but yeah they'll like you."

"So pretty much the only person I have to look out for is your dad?"

"Well yeah. I mean he's like any other dad. Protective, not wanting some weird kid with tattoos everywhere dating me."

"Well I am tattoo free," he says.

"Well that's good."

We walk into Starbucks and order our coffee.

"After you," Kian says as he opens the door to the garden.

"Thank you," I say with a smile as I walk through the door.

"Just remember not to make a huge a fuss over meeting my family. It's no big deal."

"Alright," he says.

I glance around the garden. So many of our memories have been made here. All the way from our first date, to my birthday, and to just spending hours here laughing and talking. I love Kian and even if my family doesn't like him they can't stop me.
