"It's perfect," Ashley says.

"You guys don't think it's too simple?" I ask.

"No it's gorgeous," Erin says.

"You look amazing," Andrea assures.

I turn back around to look at myself in the mirror again.

The wedding dress is beautiful. It has a full ball gown type skirt with a sweetheart neckline. It's simple but still classy.

"Here, this might add a little," Erin says. she comes up next to me and ties a aqua blue ribbon around the waste of the dress. "There now it's officially perfect," she says smiling. She backs away and stands next to Andrea and Ashley again.

"You have to get it," Andrea says.

I look in the mirror and smile. This is it. This is the dress.

"I'll get it," I say.

I pay for the dress and we all walk back out to the car.

"I can't believe I'm getting married in a week," I say.

The hot June air warms my skin.

"Brian's coming right?" Erin asks.

"Of course he is," I say. "Why, does someone have a crushhhh?" I tease.

"What? He's cute," she laughs.

"So have you written your vows yet?" Ashley asks.

"That's what I forgot," I say. "I've been so busy with everything else I forgot about it."

"What do you think you're going to write?" Andrea asks.

"I have absolutely no idea. It has to be unique though," I say.

I start to drive towards Erin's apartment.

"Well what's unique about you and Kian?" Erin asks.

"I don't know? We're both freaks?" I laugh.

"I'm sure people would love to hear that in your vows."

"I don't know I'll think if something before the wedding." I pull up to Erin's apartment.

"Alright. I'll see you guys later," Erin says as she climbs out of the car.

"Did you get Copeland's flower girl dress?"

"Yeah it's inside you want to see it?" She asks.

"No it's fine. Just send me a picture, I have to get home and hide my dress before Kian gets home."

"Alright. Bye," she says.

"Bye," we all reply.

I drop Ashley off, then drop Andrea off. When I pull up to the house Kian's car is already in the driveway. I leave the dress in the car then go inside.

"Hey babe," he says when I walk through the door.

"Hey, do you mind closing your eyes for a few minutes I need to bring something inside that you can't see."

"Yeah." He puts his hands over his eyes and smiles.

"You promise you won't peek?" I ask.

"I don't know, tell me what it is."

"It's my dress."

"Alright, I won't look."

I go back outside and grab my dress then carry it back inside.

"Can I open my eyes now?" He asks.

"No, wait until I tell you."

"Alright."

I run upstairs and hide it in the closet of the guest room. I make my way back downstairs.

"Ok you can open your eyes now."

"So why couldn't I see your dress?" He asks.

"Because it's bad luck," I say as I sit down next to him.

"Since when?"

"Since always. That's like wedding code."

"There's wedding code?"

"Yeah."

"Ok, any other rules I should now about?" He asks.

"The bride has to wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue."

"Do any of these rules apply to the groom?"

"No I don't think so."

"Oh I see how it is. The groom doesn't get anything special do they."

"Well there's the honeymoon," I laugh.

"Very true," he says with a smile.

I roll my eyes. He plants a kiss on my forehead then wraps his arms around me.
