"Hey sweetie," Kian says as he gives me a quick kiss.
"Where'd you and Sam go?" I ask.
"Just skateboarding around."
"Sounds fun."
"Yup. How was shopping?"
"It was good. I got everyone's presents."
"Ooo what'd you get me?" He questions through a smile.
"I'm not telling unless you tell me what you got for me," I say.
"To bad, that won't be happening," he smiles.
"Oh come on, I already know that it's small."
"Wait who told you?" He presses.
"Erin."
"I told everyone not to tell you," he says frustrated.
"Everyone knows?"
"Well yeah, I can't keep something this big to just myself. I had to have help picking it out."
"Seriously just tell me already," I beg.
"No, I can't."
"Ugh fine," I say rolling my eyes.
"I promise that you'll love it though." He smiles and gives me a long kiss.
"Hey, I'm getting ready to leave," Sam says.
Kian pulls away and turns to Sam.
"Already?" He asks disappointed.
"Yeah Andrea wants me back home by tonight."
"When did you say you'll be moving up?" I ask.
"About four weeks," Sam says.
"Alright, it was nice seeing you for a bit," Kian says giving him a slap on the shoulder.
"You too." Sam returns the slap.
"Bye," I tell Sam as I give him a quick hug.
He grabs his bag, heads out to his car, then leaves.
"Come on you can't tell me?" I say looking at Kian again.
"No. I can not tell you."
"Ughhhh. I'm going to go insane before Christmas is even here."
"Just wait. Alright?" Kian says.
"Fine I guess I can wait," I say sticking my tongue out at him.
"It's late I think I might go to bed," Kian tells me.
"Alright. I think I might too."
We make our way upstairs then crawl into bed together. Almost instantly Kian's out. I lay wide awake though not really able to sleep. My mind starts to travel to the present. I don't really know why I want to know what it is so bad but I just do. I mean it has to be pretty great if Kian told everyone about it.
