*Annie's PV*

"Has he heard anything?" Erin asks over the phone.

"No he hasn't. I told him to try and call him then tell you if he hears anything."

"Alright, thanks."

"Are you going to be ok?" I ask.

"Yeah I'll be fine. I just need something to get my mind off of this right now."

"You want me to tell you what happened with Kian?"

"Yeah. What's going on?"

I explain the events of the day to her not leaving out a single detail.

"How do you feel you aren't ready for it though?" Erin asks.

"I just feel like we're to young."

"Jc and I got married almost a year ago."

"Well that's you guys, plus you two had Copeland."

"But I still wanted to. Even if we didn't have Copeland and he had asked I probably would've said yes."

"I guess I'm just scared then."

"Why would you be scared?" She asks.

"I mean I'm promising to spend the rest of my life with him. That's a lot to take in."

"It's not like he's going to change. He's still the same person he was when you first met him. Why would he be any different later on?"

"Yeah I guess. This is the worst Christmas ever."

"I highly agree with that," she says.

"This ring is really pretty though." I look down at my finger where it still sits.

"Yeah it is. It took us days to find that. Ashley and I would go with him while you would be at work. We chose so many rings that I know you would've loved, but he said he wanted to keep looking until he found the one that looked as perfect as you do," she says in a cheesy voice.

"You're kidding me. He did not say that."

"I swear on my life he did."

A smile spreads across my face.

"I've got to go, there's another calling coming in. I'll call you back."

"Alright, bye."

Erin was right about Kian. He hasn't changed since I first met him so why would he later on. Truthfully I am still a bit scared to say yes because it's the rest of my life, but I guess that's just the leap of faith that you take when you say yes.

My phone starts to vibrate again.

"Hello?"

"Kian talked to Jc," she says.

"What'd he say?"

"He's in Texas. He told Kian it was the first place he thought of so he bought the plane tickets for him and Copeland and just left."

"That's it he's just in Texas?"

"Yeah."

"Well what are you going to do?" I ask.

"I don't know I need to talk to him about it."

"Ok well call me in the morning when you find out what's going on."

"Alright."

"Bye."

"Bye." I hang up then check the time. It's already 2 AM. I set my phone aside then close my eyes and eventually fall asleep.
