"Hey are you alright?" I ask Erin as I walk into her room.

"Yeah," she says.

"Alright I was just making sure. You've been up here all day."

"Yup. Just been thinking."

"Mind if I sit with you?"

"No, go ahead." I walk into the room and close the door behind me. I take a seat in the window seat overlooking the beach. "I forgot how much I loved this house," she says.

"I know. The house in Alaska is really amazing though."

"Yeah it is," she agrees.

I look out the window and take in the beauty of the ocean.

"I talked to Jc," Erin says behind me.

"What'd he say?"

"He told me that he misses me."

"Well what'd you say?" I ask.

"I told him I miss him too. He said that he doesn't know if he'll be able to forgive me though."

"But he has to."

"No he doesn't. Remember how you felt when Connor cheated on you?" She asks.

"Yeah."

"Multiply that by ten. That's most likely how Jc feels. He's not going to take me back Annie."

"You don't know that," I assure.

"If Kian did this to you what would you do?" She asks.

I go quiet. Honestly I don't know what I'd do.

"Exactly. But then there's Copeland. Jc said he doesn't want her to grow up around us having issues with each other, which I completely understand, but she needs both of us. She needs us to be a family."

"I know. This'll be hard, but I know Jc. He'll make the right decision. He'll forgive you and you'll be a family again."

"That's what you and I think is the right decision though. To him the right decision is to get a... Divorce." She chokes a little on the word.

"Just give him time. He loves you, and when you love someone you don't give up on them. So don't give up on him."

She nods but stays quiet.

Erin's phone starts to ring.

"Hello," she answers.

"Oh what's up?" Her voice sounds a little unsteady.

"Well what are you going to do?" She asks.

"You really think you're ready to see me?"

"Well of course I do. I just want to know about you."

"Alright. I'll talk to them. Bye," she says. She hangs up and looks at me. "Well that was Jc again," she says.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"He said he can't stay in Texas anymore. It's to much for his family to have Copeland and him in the house."

"Well what's he going to do?" I question.

"He said he's thinking about coming to LA."

"He's ready to do that?"

"He said that the only way that we'll be able to work this out is if we're together."

"Well good. He can stay here."

"Alright." Her voice sounds a little unsure.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just nervous."

"It'll be fine." I take a seat next to her on her bed. "If he's willing to come to LA to try and work this out then he's one step closer to forgiving you."

She lets out a little sigh of relief. "Ok then. Let's do this."
