Chapter eight:
Warning: This chapter contains spoilers and it includes information for those who haven’t seen or read the chapters in the Bleach manga, in which Aizen uses the Hogyoku to transform people into Visoreds. I don’t know the episode number but if you haven’t seen anything that has to do with that, this chapter will contain spoilers. Read at your own risk.
I’m also changing a few things in the main storyline, since this is my story. If you have anything to tell me, please don’t hesitate. Read on right ahead and enjoy!
Approximately ten years ago:
I sighed and strolled slowly as the evening started to commence. Today’s training was in the 12th division. We were told that the 12th division were getting a new captain, called Urahara Kisuke. Today we were trained by the lieutenant of 12th division. Her name was Hiyori Sarugaki. She was smaller and maybe younger than me. She was very short, brown eyed, blonde-haired who wears her short hair in spiky pigtails. Her fighting style was amazing and she defeated every one of us who fought her today. I was going to fight her tomorrow.
As I observed her fight, I realized that her attacks were up front but they were accurate. Her fighting style was very different from mine. I turned the corner and spotted Captain Shinji Hirako sitting next to Captain Urahara, along the railings. I looked up at the sky, the moon was bright and stars were out. I moved back slowly and concealed myself against the wall. I moved without making a single noise.
The two captains were talking about Urahara’s new role as captain. Urahara stood up and left, out of sight. Shinji got up to leave. I looked at him as he asked out to nothing in particular, “How long do you plan on watching us from over there?”
He used his hand to revealed Aizen enshrouded behind a form of concealment.
“Amazing, when did you sense me here?” Aizen asked his captain.
“Ever since you were in your mother’s womb,” Shinji replied. “Follow me.”
“You are a scary person indeed.”
Shinji chuckled. “You’re the scary one.” As they started leaving, Aizen glanced to where I was. I quickly hid my head behind the wall in time, trying hard not to breathe. Aizen looked forward and followed behind Shinji. They soon left out of sight. I slowly came out from behind the wall, and cautiously made my way home, knowing that I shouldn’t have witnessed any of this.
Plans changed for the next day. Instead of fighting Hioyri again, we were sent to the fifth division, to have a look at how squads worked. We observed at what they did daily, and we were also given a speech by Captain Hirako. It was evening now, and it was dark. Every student had left and I decided to stay back and have a look around. As I was walking I saw Gin ahead of me. He was standing in front of a figure that was lying on the ground. I walked to a nearby tree and climbed it quickly without making a sound. I concealed myself behind leaves as I looked at Gin.
It appeared as though Gin murdered this man. This wasn’t the Gin I know. Aizen appeared out of no where and walked towards Gin.
“I’m impressed by your skill,” I heard Aizen say. “Tell me, how did you find the fight?”
“I found it pathetic,” Gin replied.
“Very well, you are now the new 3rd seat of 5th division. I’ll cover up for your murder.”
Gin nodded and Aizen left. Gin looked up to where I was. He eyes were closed but he could sense me. “Hi, Reina,” he grinned.
I jumped down from the tree and faced him. I was slightly outraged. “Why did you kill him?”
