Chapter twenty-nine: Invasions and defeats
“Something’s not right,” I told Ulquiorra. “Wait.” I felt strange reiatsu from Orihime’s room. I rushed and ambled to her room. I rushed through halls, and I pushed a weaker Arrancar out of the way. I stormed in Orihime’s room, without bothering to open the door, breaking it down as I crashed in it.
Loly and Menoly were attacking Orihime. Loly attacked Orihime. Menoly advanced on me and drew her sword. I effortlessly kicked her face and she was flung into the wall.
“You are weak as a human and I’m much stronger than you,” Loly taunted Orihime. Orihime didn’t react to this taunt which only angered Loly more. Exploding with annoyance, Loly kicked her, sending her flying through the wall, creating a loud crash. Menoly appeared behind her and tried to quieten her down.
“That’s enough. Get the hell out!” I yelled at them.
“Or what?!” Loly threatened. Suddenly Grimmjow exploded into the room, shocking all of us. Loly and Menoly had terrified looks on their faces, staring at Grimmjow. Grimmow advanced on them, firing a cero at Menoly. To Orihime and my horror, Menoly had half of her top body blown away.
“This acts as repayment to you, for returning my arm,” Grimmjow told Orihime. He proceeded to then fire a cero Loly and she was sent hurling into a wall. Grimmjow looked at me and quickly fired a cero at me, which I blocked with my hands by I was still thrown back.
Grimmjow went to Orihime and grabbed her by the scruff. “Let her go Grimmjow!” I ordered. That was the first time I didn’t call him Grimmkitty.
Grimmjow ignored me. “I demand your attention!” he yelled at Orihime. “I give you a chance to heal yourself!” Orihime took it but instead she healed a reluctant Loly. She then went to Menoly and resurrected her by rematerializing her body physically. Orihime looked at me. She was making her way to heal me but I gave her a pleading look, trying to tell her to stop and that I was all right.
Grimmjow dragged Orihime and took her away. I got up quickly, running behind them but Grimmjoww was too quick. I followed them to Ichigo’s body. Ichigo laid there, looking lifeless. I panted.
“Heal him,” Grimmjow demanded. Orihime attempted to do so, having trouble at first. Grimmjow proceeded to take a seat.
“What do you think you are doing?!” I almost screamed at him. He ignored me. I turned around and looked at Orihime’s progress. Nel appeared, upset.
“Ulquiorra did this to him!” Nel sobbed. Orihime is shocked to learn this. I watch her break throgh the reiatsu that was left in the wound. Ichigo sloly began to show us that he was alive. All of us watched as Ichigo regained consciousness but Orihime still haven’t completed healing him fully.
Ulquiorra appeared abruptly. “What are you doing going out of your way to heal an enemy that I have defeated?” he questioned Grimmjow immediately as he arrived. Grimmjow ignored him, giving him no answer.
“Aizen has placed Orihime in my care and Aojirohonō-sama’s. Hand her over now,” Ulquiorra said as I walked over to him.
