Jenny's P.O.V

"What time is it?" I ask Daniel as it feels like I've been waiting for Marshall in a very long time. We had a deal that he'd come find me when he was done but who knows? Maybe he's caught up in some conversation.

"It's 10:47." Daniel says. I've been waiting for Marshall in about 45 minutes now so maybe I should text him. I grab my phone from my purse and I see two messages from Marshall.

Where are you?

I guess you're too busy with that guy in the bar. Enjoy your fucking night Jenny and fuck you.

I'm shocked about his text and his behavior. I went to high school with Daniel so of course I was surprised to see him here. What is Marshall imagining anyways? That I'm gonna hook up with some guy? He has seen me talking to a guy in the bar and then he jumps to a conclusion. Daniel has a wife and 3 kids and there has been no flirting what so ever! I would never do that to Marshall. It's Marshall I'm in love with and I thought he knew that I'm not like that. Should I have reacted the same way when he dragged Rihanna into a room to talk? I don't like this site of him one bit and I didn't expect him to ever react that way, specially over nothing.

"Is everything okay?" Daniel asks me as I've been staring down into the phone just reading that last text over and over again.

"No." I say and look at him. I can't tell him about Marshall and that we're dating but I know that I have to go out and call him. "Sorry, but I have to go."

"What's going on?" Daniel frowns confused.

"It's just work." I lie. "You know how it is." Daniel is a manager so he should know that as an assistant you can quickly become very busy.

"Okay." Daniel says. "I'll add you on Facebook if it's okay."

"Yes of course." I say and give him a hug. "It was nice to see you again Daniel."

"You too Jenny." He says and I now walk through the crowd of people when someone suddenly grabs my arm. I turn around to see that's it's Andre who's grabbing my arm.

"Where's Marshall?" He asks.

"I don't know." I say and he lets go of my arm.

"But he went out to find you." Andre says confused.

"He apparently saw me talking to an old high school friend in the bar and now he's pissed, so I try to find out if he's around somewhere." I tell him.

"Have you tried calling him?"

"Not yet. That was what I was about to do." I say. "I'm just gonna go outside and call." I walk outside and Andre follows behind me. I guess he's curious about where Marshall is too.

I try to call him twice but he doesn't pick up.

"He doesn't pick up." I say and Andre grab his phone now.

"Let me try." Andre says and I immediately hear Marshall pick up but I can't hear what he's saying. "Yo dawg, where the fuck are you?" Andre asks him and I hear him speaking but I still can't make out what he's saying. I can't believe that he won't even pick up the phone when I'm calling. "Jenny is looking for you." Andre now tells him. "Well, she's right here." I expect Andre to hand me his phone but he doesn't. "Yeah, alright. I'll see you." Andre just says and hangs up. I'm so confused right now. Why doesn't he wanna talk to me?

"Where is he?" I ask.

"The hotel." Andre says. "You better go talk to him man cus he ain't happy."
