It's a busy day in the studio today as Marshall has invited the whole G-unit in the studio so I've backed off a little. Marshall should really just have fun with the boys without me being around, besides I don't really feel like I fit in in all that because it's just a very different culture, if you know what I mean? They all grew up in a bad neighborhood and was making their living of drugs and I know that Marshall also kinda grew up like that, but it's like when they're all together then they just speak a different language where I simply can't follow. Don't get me wrong, I really like them but I can't follow. I didn't grow up like they did so therefore I can't be in on all that.

It gently knocks on my door and before I get to say anything then Emily sticks her head in.

"Damn there's a lot of noise around here today." Emily says and closes the door behind her. The guys are very noisy but I just think I'm getting used to it since I've listened to it for the past couple of hours.

"Yes, I think they're having fun." I giggle and Emily sits down.

"How goes?" She asks. Me and Emily haven't seen each other much lately as she has been a little busy. Her son Cody has been sick, nothing serious but it was a bad flue so Emily needed to stay home with him. Sometimes I think that Emily really wished that Cody's father paid a little more attention to him so he could help, but he practically doesn't care for him at all. He didn't really want Cody but Emily refused to get an abortion. Nick, Cody's father is an asshole and he never treated Emily well. He was all about party and girls and he sometimes slapped her around. No wonder that Emily finds it hard to trust men. She still sees Peter though but she finds it hard to make a real commitment to him which I understand. Peter is very patient and I think he'll wait for her, he's really a good guy.

"Good." I say smiling. "What about you?"

"I'm doing good too." She says. "It's nice to be back at it again and not stuck at home with a sick kid."

"It's good that you're back." I say as I've really missed her.

"What are you up to today? Are you busy?" She asks.

"Not much." I say. "How come you ask?"

"I really just wanna go out and shop, eat lunch and all that girl stuff we haven't done for ages." She says. It could be nice and besides, I don't actually have something that I can't do tomorrow and Marshall is having fun with the guys, so maybe I should take the day off.

"Let's do it." I say. "I'm just gonna tell Marshall."

"Cool." She says and a big smile spreads across her lips.

I go out in the common room to find the guys sitting there playing PlayStation which explains why they're so noisy. Marshall doesn't play right now so I feel comfortable to cut in.

"Marshall?" I say trying to get his attention off the screen and suddenly all eyes are on me.

"Yeah?" Marshall says.

"Can I talk to you?" I ask.

"Uhhhh problems!" Lloyd now says which makes the rest of the guys jump on that joke.

"Sure." Marshall says.

"Didn't she get it good enough last night?" Curtis chuckles. I know that's how they talk but I still don't like it, specially not when it's about my sex life then I don't like it all.

"She can't complain on that part." Marshall just laughs. Did I mention that I hate it?

Me and Marshall walk down to his office and he immediately pulls me close to him.

"What's up?" He asks.

"Is it okay that I take the day off?" I ask.

"Why? What's going on?" He gets concerned.
