Chapter 21: Faith Was Strong

"Jon you don't know that." I said.

"Yes I do. If you don't want to marry now because of him. Then you're not going to want to marry me now because of you." He said.

"Jon..." I said.

"Maybe I should have took AJ up on the offer when she said we could date." Jon said. "Then you and Jay could've been happily married but no I wanted you to marry me."

"Jon don't you dare talk to her like that." Jay said.

"Miranda I love you and I'm sorry you can't see it like I do, okay. I can't just wait anymore, I want you but you clearly just want Jay. I'm gonna leave you guys alone, you can date him or even marry him for all I care anymore, without any interruptions from me." Jon said.

"I DO!" I yelled fast.

"What?" Jon asked.

"I do want Jonathan Lee Good to be my lawfully wedded husband." I said.

I looked over at Jay.

"How could you? I drove all the way from Quebec to stop this because I thought you loved me." Jay said.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY. OKAY. I TRY TO PLEASE JON BY SAYING YES. AND I TRY TO PLEASE JAY BY SAYING NO! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. I HATE BOTH OF YOU! YOU BOTH PUT ME THROUGH HE** AND BACK EVERYDAY!" I yelled with tears running down my cheeks.

I ran out the court house and sat on the stairs. Marsye came out.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"No. I'm hurt and confused. I hate love. I just planned on getting married tonight. I just wanted to be happy, but I guess happy just my thing." I said.

"Kiddo happiness is your thing. Your use to be happy all the time when we use to train you. Your just in a unhappy position." Adam said.

"I know Adam. I just want to feel loved again by just one person." I said.

"Well Jays in their crying like a baby along with Jon." Adam said.

"You sure have your effect girl. Maybe you should go tell them that you don't hate them because they took that to heart." Ryse said.

"I know bring them out please." I asked Adam.

"Okay kiddo." He said kissing my forehead.

"I'm going to head in so you guys can talk in private." Ryse said.

"Thanks." I said.

"Hey. " Jon said with Jay following behind him. Both of them with puffy red eyes.

"Hey, come sit down." I said.

"What you need to talk about?" Jay asked sitting by me.

"How I don't hate you I just said it. I love both of you I'm just hurt." I said.

"You really want to marry Jon Miranda and understand that. A part of me says let go of you so you can do that, but the other half says don't let go of you because your the only one I have left." Jay said.

"Jay I don't know what I want anymore." I said.

"I'm sorry for rushing you Miranda. I love you and I shouldn't have dropped that on you." Jon said.

"It's okay. I guess I thought I was ready anyways." I said.

"I'm sorry that I crashed your wedding Miranda." Jay said.

"Don't it was meant to be crashed." I said.

"Probably. This has got to be a message Miranda. Maybe we aren't suppose to be together." Jon said.

"Jon I believe we are but..I don't know." I said.

"But you found someone else and you love him to,and you guys were made for each other. His hands fit in yours perfectly. You mumble about him in your sleep. Your guys' kisses just explode with sparks. The way you look at him just tells me your in love with him." Jon said.

"Don't say that Jon. You guys were made for each other. She talks about you in her sleep. She moans you're name when we make love and she doesn't even notice. The way she loves you is amazing. Before me and her hooked up and you guys were together you guys were perfect. You guys were so in love." Jay said.

"I'm going to let go." They both said at the same time.

"I'll let go Jay you be with her." Jon said.

"No Jon you be with her, you guys need each other." Jay said.

"I can't hold in much longer okay Jay. I'm about to say I want to keep her. Just say you love her and you'll never cheat on her and I'll leave you alone forever." Jon said

"No Jon that's the point. I want you to keep her maybe she is better with you anyway. Maybe I should find someone else." Jay said.

"Okay." Jon said.

"Jay..." I said.

"Don't. I'll be fine." Jay said kissing my cheek. "I'll love you forever Miranda."

"Love you forever to Jay." I said.

"See ya around Miranda." Jay said.

"See ya around Jay." I said.

With that Jay left without saying another word. That was it. He wasn't coming back. He was gone..... Forever.
