Chapter 45: Wrestling

I woke up and went downstairs. Everyone was sitting at the table drinking their coffee and still waking up. I looked at the clock and it said 7:00 am.
"Good morning miss Miranda. Care to take a seat?" Cody asked pulling out a care for me.
"Don't mind if I do." I said sitting by
Cody at the table.
"Want any coffee?" Dustin asked pouring himself some coffee.
"Yes please. You know how I like it right?" I asked.
"Sure do." He said making me a cup of coffee.
"So Miranda, Cody told me you and him wanted to get in the ring this weekend." Dustin said placing the cup of coffee in front of me.
"Thank you Dustin. And yes I think it would be nice to get back in the ring this weekend. I need to practice more. I have a match with Natalya this weekend. I am also in a romance storyline with Jay and Jon so I could also use some character advice. Especially from you Dustin. You were in a romance storyline once." I said.
."Yeah me and dad could help you and Cody out. How about we practice today?" He asked and his dad nodded his head.
"That sounds great." I said.
"Good. We will get ready and be out of here by 9 am, sound good." He asked.
"Yep. How long our we going to be a the wrestling place?" I asked.
"I don't three to five hours." He said.
"Great." Cody and I said.
We ate breakfast and got ready to leave.
"Yeah Miranda Jay lives in this city right?" Cody asked.
"Yes why?" I asked.
"I was just wondering if you would like to call him and ask him if he wanted to meet up with us at the wrestling place." He said.
"That sounds like a great idea. Let me call Jay and ask him." I said.
"Okay. Maybe after we get done there we can hang out with him at like the park or at Starbucks or something." He said.
"Great plan Codes." I said.

"Jay do you want to come down to Virgil'a wrestling place?" I asked.
"Yeah when?" He asked.
"Now." I said.
"Okay meet you down there in a little bit." He said.
"Okay bye." I said.
"Bye love you." He said.
"Love you to. Bye." I said and then I hung up.
"Let's go guys, Jay is meeting us down there." I said. We all headed to the car and Dustin took the drivers seat. I set in the back with Cody and Virgil sat up front.
"So you and Jay huh?" Virgil asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Oh. So you moved on from Cody?" Virgil asked and I smiled.
"I moved on from Cody when I started dating Jonathan Good along time ago, Virgil." I said.
"That sucks. I really wanted you to get married. I wanted you to have my grandchildren, not some swimsuit model." Virgil said.
"Dad!" Cody said.
"Don't get me wrong Cody I love Brandi, but I really loved you guys as a couple." Virgil said and I giggled.
"Virgil we broke up along time ago." I said.
"I know. But don't think Dustin didn't tell me about how much you talked about Cody after the break up and how much he talked about you." Virgil said.
"Well that's the past and this is the future. Cody's married and I'm in a very serious relationship with Jay." I said.
"What happened to Jon?" Virgil asked.
"He cheated we broke up had and on and off thing. Torn between two thing." I said.
"Oh I see. So you really love Jay?" He said.
"Yes sir, he makes me very happy." I said.
"I like him already." He said and I smiled.
"Oh yeah Jay told me to tell you that he said hi!" I said remembering.
"Why did you tell me that now? I'm going to go see him in just a couple minutes. We are almost there." Virgil said.
"So I could tell him I told you." I said smiling and Cody was by me laughing.
"Same Miranda I remember." Cody said.
"Hopefully. Don't ever want to change." I said.
"Good I love the way you are right now." Dustin said.
"Thanks Dustin." I said.
"No prob." He said.
"We are here." Cody said smiling.
I got out of the car and saw Jay leaning on his car looking down at his phone. He was wearing a tight black short sleeve shirt and some blue Levi's.
"Jay." I said and he looked up from his phone.
"Hey. I missed you." He said kissing me gently on lips.
"I missed you to." I said.
"Hey, kids stop the lovin all over each other we got some wrestling to do!" Virgil said, lisp strong than ever.
"Sorry about him. I think he still believes me and Cody are going to get together. So any harsh comments he may make don't take em to heart. He don't mean them." I said grabbing his hand and pulling toward the doors of the wrestling facility.
"Thanks for warning me. Wouldn't want to go in there not knowing Dusty hates me." He said.
"He doesn't hate you. He just holds a little grudge on anyone who pulls me and Cody further apart." I said opening the door.
"Oh." He said clearly not wanting to talk about Virgil anymore now that we were by him.
"Okay kids go get your gear on. I want to see what you rookies got." Virgil said rubbing his hands together.
"You got it pops." Cody said grabbing his gym bag and heading to the locker room. We all went separate ways and got changed into our ring attire. I walked out to the ring and climbed in. Virgil was in sit in the front row. Jay, Cody and Dustin all in the middle of the ring with me waiting for instructions.
"I want to see Cody and Jay first. Miranda, Dustin get out of the ring." Virgil said and me and Dustin climbed out of the ring. We sat in the chairs next to Virgil. Virgil watched on at the ring as Jay and Cody went back and forth in the ring. Jay had gotten Cody on the top rope and gave him a top rope suplex.
"Good! Okay you guys can stop." Virgil said. Cody and Jay climbed out of the ring.
"You guys did good. Jay you should use more of those submissions. They are entertaining. Cody I want you to learn more highflying moves, because yours right now get the crowd excited so just imagine the way the crowd would react if you were doing that all through the match. You guys have a good connection in the ring. I would pay to watch ya. I'm going to have to talk to Vince." Dusty said.
"Thanks." Cody and Jay said before taking a seat.
The next couple of hours we talked all about wrestling and we wrestled around in the ring. It was fun and I got to hang out with Jay. I was worried about Raw tomorrow I didn't know what kinda of stunt Jon was going to try to pull, I did something wrong and I gave him faith that we were bound to be a great couple. I didn't know what I was going to do and to be honest I was
kinda wanted to see what he meant by "great lengths for me."
