Anger is never without a reason but seldom with a good one. -Benjamin Franklin

"Did you find anything yet?" Asked Ali.
"Nope."
He closed another book and sighed. We were in my mother's library and there were dozens of books surrounded us.
We've been looking for the past hour!
"It has to be in one of these books." Ali mumbled. I sighed and looked at him.
"You want to take a break?"
"Why not?"
"So," I looked at him. "How's it going between you and Nikki?
I might seem like i'm meddling...and I am, but I don't think checking in on your friends relationships 24/7 is nosy. I'm just curious...
Okay, maybe I am a little nosy.
"Ugh, don't remind me." Ali groaned.
I started thinking hard about if I should interfere. I mean it would just be helping. It's not like it's hurting anyone. Albeit, Nikki might not want me to interfere. Maybe they should work it out on their own. I mean-
"What do you think, Arden?" Ali snapped me out of my thoughts.
"What?" I asked confused. Ali just chuckled at me.
"I said, what do you think?" I've tried everything to get her to at least talk to me and nothing's working. What should I do?"
Wow. He asked with seriousness and sincerity. It surprised me because Ali was a huge jock. I've never seen him like this. Shit must more serious than I thought.
"Ali, I don't think-"
"Please, Arden," he looked at me with soft eyes. "If you know a way to get my Bambi back, please tell me."
"Bambi?" I asked with a smile.
Ali's shrugged. "That's what i've been calling her since the sixth grade. She has these big green eyes that's just...adorable."
Oh my god. I started to shake Ali's arm. "Aw, that is the most sweetest thing i've ever heard."
Ali just laughed. "Okay, okay," I told him. "Nikki thinks that you played her, that you weren't serious about how she really felt. You have to show her you're serious about you and her." I told him honestly.
Ali looked to the floor for a few seconds, thinking, before he started to nod his head. "That actually makes sense, shorty. I know exactly what to do." He smiled at me.
I flipped my hair over my shoulder. "Don't sound so surprised."
Ali's phone went off and he checked it. I watched him as he rolled his eyes with a smile.
"Who ya texting?' I peered my head over to see but Ali just laughed and pushed my head away.
"Well, if you want to know so badly, i'm texting your boyfriend, or should I say that he won't stop texting me."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "I'm talking about Zane," Ali rolled his eyes. "He won't leave me alone about you."
I froze at that. "What do you mean?"
