I walked into the soccer field with Ace beside me. This was the day that we got to practice with the team.

I tried not to think about today. A lot happened. And I mean a lot. So now, all of this new information and events are lodged into my brain.

We walked up to Coach McAllen. "What can I do for you girls today?" He asked not looking up from his clipboard.

I turned to Ace. He felt much better than he did this morning considering that the storm stopped and the sun was back out.

I still don't know how Zane managed to do that.

I'll worry about it later. Ace's smile disappeared when he uttered those words. "I'm a boy." Ace said horrified.

I wanted to laugh.

"I don't care." He said simply. He just flipped through his clipboard and was signing a few papers.

"Actually, Coach McAllen, we're here to practice with the team. Any chance you have any extra clothes for us?" I asked.

Coach McAllen just kept flipping through the clipboard completely ignoring us.

"What the hell is wrong with this guy? Do you think he's hard of hearing?" Ace muttered beside me. I shook my head.

"Hey, Coach McAllen." I tried to grab his attention. "Remember us, from yesterday?"

The coach sighed. "Go talk to the captain." He said simply. I rolled my eyes. Did he have to be so rude about it?

I was going to fire one of my smart comments when Ace covered my mouth with his hand and dragged me away from the coach. "Don't even think about it. At least we still get to practice with the team."

Always so positive.....

"Where do you think Zane is?" Ace asked. Zane's name made me shiver but I quickly shook that feeling away.

I remember how yesterday that they were in the library. Maybe there they're in there now. I grabbed Ace's hand.

"Follow me." I told him. We walked to the library and sure enough, all four of them were in there. Nikki, Armani, Ali, and Zane.

"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you guys all day!" Nikki ran up to us and enveloped us in a hug. "Where the hell have you guys been?! You're apart of our group now, we meet in the library everyday after school." She told is firmly.

I chuckled at her, while Ace was too busy staring at Armani in her cheer shorts.

I rolled my eyes.

"You're gonna scare them off. Why do you have to be so weird?" Ali raised his eyebrows at her.

She glared at him. "I'm do weird? I wasn't weird when you were fucking me in the closet last year. Don't you remember that, sweetie?" Nikki smirked.

Ali chuckled and turned his head to the side while Zane laughed beside him.

Wow. This is the first time, I've heard Zane laughed. Like a laugh. In fact, this is the first time I've seen him smile. I know I haven't known him for a long time but, two days without seeing someone smile is a long time.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Nikki and Ali had some sort of past. They seem perfectly normal with each other so it either wasn't a big deal or they got over it.
