2. There are More

We meet the people we're supposed to when the time is right. -Alyson Noel

She was a disparate! Should I say something? It wouldn't be that bad. What if-

"Hey, Nikki?" Ace pulled me out my thoughts. Nikki looked up and her green eyes were back to normal.

"Yeah?"

"Are you a disparate?" Ace asked slowly in a whisper. I watched as Nikki's eyes grew wide and I rolled my eyes.

Ace was an idiot. I slapped him on the arm. "Oww!" He exclaimed clutching where I hit him.

"You dummy, we just saw her eyes shift." I turned to Nikki whose eyes were still widened. "It's okay, we're Disparates too. We just saw your eyes shift." I told her.

Suddenly, her face broke out into a smirk. "I knew there was something about you two that I liked." She chirped. "This is so exciting! More Disparates!"

"What do you mean more?" Ace asked beside me.

"Oh, there are a whole bunch of us here." Nikki shrugged.

Armani came to the table with her lunch and sat down. "Armani guess what!?" Nikki squealed. "Arden and Ace are Disparates!" She whispered the last part.

Armani's eyes widened. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing. We're gonna get along just fine." I laughed at the both of them. They were really excited.

"So, what are you guys, sirens?" Armani asked.

Sirens...wow.

"Actually, no. Ace here is son of Apollo." I explained.

Armani smiled. "That's so cool! My mothers Artemis." She continued.

Artemis. The goddess of the moon, hunt, and young maidens. Armani seemed to fit that perfectly. "You're of the sun and I'm of the moon; its likes we were meant for each other." She joked with a wink. Ace just gave her a boyish smile.

Nikki spoke next. "My mothers-"

"Nike." I cut her off. She widened her eyes and gasped.

"How'd you know?"

Nikki's eyes lit up when the boy told her that he won his football game.

Also, Nikki seems super confident. It only made sense that Nike was related to her.

Nike, the goddess of victory.

"This smart-ass is the daughter of Athena." Ace told them while he poked me in the stomach. I swatted his hand away.

I rolled my eyes with a smile. "The Athena?" Nikki asked and I nodded. She didn't have to say it like that. I mean yes, my mother is Athena but she's not all that.

It's not like she's a-well, she is a goddess.

"You said there were others," Ace started. "What about them?"

"Well, there's Andrew, Ali, Zane, Penny, Malia, Nate, Danielle, Perry, Tanya, and Jenny." Armani told us.

Wow, that's a lot. Back at my old school, it was just Ace, me and a siren. This school, however, was full of them.
