My mother...she looked like a goddess.
She was huge, and she had on an ancient dress with a crown made from olive branches and leaves around her head.
Athena.
"The first generation of disparates." She had a semi-smile on her face. "The time has come."
Everyone stood frozen, looking at her. Seeing a goddess is just as much as being starstruck. Her eyes landed on Hayden and me by the river, her semi-smile dropped a little bit. You could see the shift in her eyes. "Hayden..." She spoke. "I advise you to let go of my daughter...immediately."
Hayden, still in his stage of shock. Let go and jumped back as if I were on fire. "Oh my god." He whispered, you could see the fear on his face.
"Before you guys freak out, i'm here to inform you that everything will be fine. Everything is taken care of, and I also have some very important news." We all watched as she transformed to a normal-human sized height, with olive leaves circling her. It looked magical.
Once she was small, she smiled brightly. "Gather around children, you'll want to hear this." Soon, the locks to the cell my friends were in broke, setting them free. I looked around...Nia was nowhere to be found. Like she was never here at all...
Strange.
I tried my best to get to my feet, but managed. We all slowly, cautiously made our way to her. Everyone was scarred. I could sense it.
Was was about to happen?
"Before I tell you anything else, you need to know that we know everything."
"What?" Nate asked.
Athena nodded her head. Her Hands were locked together in front of her. The white toga she was wearing made her look even more beautiful than she already was. The fabric looked soft and I wanted to reach out and touch it. "We know everything." She repeated.
Okay, I think I was going to vomit.
"What do you mean by that?" Hayden asked, I could tell he was worried, still slightly shaken.
"What I mean is that myself, along with the other gods and goddesses of Olympus have known everything that has been going on for the past couple months. Athena spoke. Her voice was soft, yet dominate. Gentle, but rigid.
"Everything?" Ace asked with raised eyebrows.
She smiled at him. "Everything. Every detail down to the fight at Green Brook Creek, to the kidnapping of Nike's daughter." Athena explained.
We all remained silent. "So, i'm guessing we don't get a reasoning explanation?" Malia raised her eyebrows.
Athena shrugged. "Not really." The look on the unpleasants faces were priceless. They all looked like they were about to shit their pants.
"Oh my god," Penny breathed out. It looked like she was going to cry.
I tried to grip the thought that it was over. They know....it's done, it's finished.
"Don't worry, Malia, Penny, Nate, and Hayden...you all won't be punished.."
"Oh, thank the gods.."
"Severely."
"Wait, wait, wait..." Nikki interrupted. "Do you know all the shit they put us through, don't they have some kind of death sentence up there on Olympus?" Nikki asked, somewhat loudly.
