***(Long Chapter)

I stood there still. My mind couldn't fully process what was happening.

I couldn't speak, think...nothing. All I could do was stare at the arrow my boyfriend had aimed at me.

"Zane, what are you doing?" Armani whispered. Her Nikki, and Ali also seemed to be in the same state I was in. Shocked. Completely bewildered. Horrified.

Zane had an uncertain emotion in his eyes. I think it was pain, maybe sadness.

I couldn't move. Why couldn't I move? "I'm confused." Nikki spoke silently, shaking her head. She turned to Zane with a serious and confused expression. "What the hell is going on?"

"Sorry, but Zane is with us. Always have been." Nate shrugged.

I was still frozen looking at Zane. "You're lying." Ali stated firmly.

"He's not." Mikahi stated. Fucking English accent. "How does it feel to completely dumbstruck?" He laughed.

"I can't believe this." Nikki shook her head. "Zane, please tell me this is a joke."

He didn't answer. He kept staring at me with that same expression.

I could just imagine what my face looked like. Probably how I was feeling on the inside. Broken.

Zane was still silent. "Is it?" I asked; I finally spoke and those were the words. Zane was still silent. "Is this some joke? Are you for real?" I choked.

Zane shook his head with soft eyes. "You don't understand...I had to..." He whispered. He had to?

No. There couldn't be a clear reason for why he would do something like this. "What don't I understand? You played us." I accused him quietly, still trying to believe it myself.

Even though I felt the pang in my chest, I also felt the pain of one thousand needles being pierced into my heart. Literally. The warm fuzzy feeling was gone and replaced with pain and hurt.

"I didn't have a choice." Zane spoke. I opened my mouth, but no words were spoken.

I don't even know what to say to him.

The overwhelming of my emotions were getting to me. Broken, shocked, betrayed, anger, and sadness.

It was too much. "Oh my god." Armani whispered. It sounded like she was about to cry.

"Now, here's what's going to happen." I finally broke my gaze on Zane and Hayden. "You guys are gonna cooperate, i'm going to do my spell, and i'm going to get what i've been longing for."

It was silent for a while and I was still trying to get over my stomach.

It was a damn lie. This all was a damn lie!

"Now, put your weapons down," Hayden started with a smirk.

No. Something inside me snapped. I quickly swung my sword at Hayden and he barely dodged it. In the blink of an eye, two arrows were lodged into my leg.

"Ahh!" I cried out in pain before I hit the floor.

"Hayden..." I heard Zane let out a sigh. The sound of his voice was making the feeling in my chest worse.

Ali was the second to move.

He lunged towards Nate but he quickly halted when Malia pulled out two G-18s and placed them right on Nikki's forehead.
