Suddenly Austin was flung across the room and crashed hard against the glass door on the cupboards, shards exploded into the air and rained down on the boy. I looked up slowly and saw my favourite pair of green eyes.

Lauren.

'Camila' she said quickly 'Camila, are you okay?'

'I-I don't know' I whispered, tears quickly filling my eyes

'Come on-'

'Lauren!' Austin roared making me jump in fright 'what the hell do you think you're doing?!'

'I'm stopping you from raping an innocent girl' she said back in a quieter tone but with more fury.

'Rape?' He mocked laugh 'she was enjoying it. We were just fooling around'

'Fooling around?' I watched helplessly as Lauren stalked towards Austin 'I swear to god Austin, if you have done anything, ANYTHING to hurt her I will rip your balls off'

'Is that a threat?' He asked, stepping backwards.

'No, that wasn't a threat. That was a promise. Trust me, you don't want to hear my threats'

'You have no right to speak to me like this' he yelled, flailing his arms around

'And what? You have the right to rape Camila?!'

'She's eighteen so technically it's legal' he said smugly, crossing his arms across his chest.

'You want to get technical Austin? Then technically as soon as she had said no or made any inclination that she didn't want to have sex with you, you should of backed off and respected her decision'

'Whatever' he said, brushing past her 'i'll txt you later babe' he took me by surprise when he placed a lingering kiss on my lips before dashing out the door. I turned just in time to grab Lauren's elbow to stop her from running after him.

'Don't' I whispered weakly

'But he-'

'I know' I wiped my lips with the back of my sleeve 'he's not worth it'

'Fuck' Lauren shouted before kicking a chair 'I should of been here'

'It doesn't matter' I mumbled

'Doesn't matter?' She quickly walked up to me and grabbed my shoulders 'Camila do you realise what he was trying to do?'

'Of course I do Lauren but it was my fault'

'Wait, how was it your fault?' She asked, a surprised tone in her voice

'I mean look at what I'm wearing' I pointed to my tight t-shirt and jeans

'It doesn't matter what the fuck you are wearing. As soon as you said no he should of walked away like a decent human being' she slowly brought her hands up and wiped the dried tears from my cheeks, I know I shouldn't but I couldn't ignore it when my heart rate doubled and my breath hitched. It was only then that I noticed our close proximity, I was still sitting on the table and she was standing in between my legs; one of her hands was on the side of my neck and the other was on my hip. I couldn't meet her gaze when she zipped back up my pants and slowly kissed my forehead.
