"DAYA! Check this out!" Miss Ramony was seated by me and I was enjoyin' her talk on designs buh nah for long. Both Ruby and Taffy came squealin' excitedly holdin' up some mag.

"You won't believe this gurl. Check out miss cutie." Ruby handed over to me the magazine and examinin' it, it was Akiylah on the cover page lookin' hella cute. Quickly, tears gathered at my eyes as I stared at my own daughter bein' on one of the most popular magazine as the face of the Perkin's orphanage project.

I gasped feelin' the swell of pride in my heart.

"Lemme see mama. Lemme see". Akiylah came starin' at herself in mag. lookin' beautiful as ever. She smiled widely runnin' her pretty tiny fingers over her picture.

"Oh mama, its beautiful". She said lookin' happy as ever. My tears strolled down runnin' my hand through her beautiful silky hair.
"Yes baby, you look beautiful". I spoke in whispers. I was just overwhelmed.

"Heyyy Daya, ain't you happy? I-i thought this would have thrilled you a lot". I felt Miss Ramony's arm around me and starin' at me with beautiful sparklin' hazel eyes showin' concern.
"Oh Miss Ramony, am just overwhelmed. I...I...I...just can't believe I would one day see my baby on a magazine cover...its just...". She smiled wipin' my tears before wrappin' me in a warm hug.

"You deserve big things". She said kissin' the top of my head and soothin' my hair.
"Well, I guess if you see these other big things I bet it gon' make yo eyes cry blood". Taffy joked takin' her laptop. I watched as she logged in to a Google site before typin' some different site and there Akiylah appeared again.

"This is Mrs. Perkins blog and she's gotten more than a thousand likes all votin' for her project." She turned her laptop for us all to get a clearer view and we all gasped in surprise except for Miss Ramony. Obviously, she knew 'bout this.

"Not only that, buh tons of people takin' on projects like this are supportin' and they would wanna use Akiylah as a universal face of this Orphanage Foundation. They still decidin' on it though buh I guess they gon' approve coz there ain't no better face than this cute princess here".

Akiylah giggled jummpin' in excitement.
"Heard that mom, am gon' be all over. Yayyyy!" I just couldn't stop this tears of joy.
"Would you just quit bein' emotional messed up and getch yo fine ass up jubilatin' before we all cry out our damn lashes". Taffy said with tears dripping' down her cheeks.

I just managed to laugh.
"I- just dunno how to express ma happiness. Come here y'all." They all gathered around me huggin' both Miss Ramony and I.
"Hey! I am the main person and y'all are huggin' them". Akiylah huffed as a frown came up on her face with her arms across her chest.

We all laughed pullin' her and squeezin' the life outta her.

We all made dinner and as we ate, Miss Ramony broke an unexpectin' news.
"Since y'all are here, I guess its a perfect time to announce my surprise." She smiles deeply turnin' her attention to me.

"I wantchu to work with me in my industry. You would have your own space which I mean, your office, equipments for everythin' you gon' need for designin' and in order for you to feel comfortable, imma let Ruby be yo' P.A for now till you able to stand on your own''.

I turned my stunned gaze to Ruby who wiggled her fingers towards me smilin' sweetly.

"...and, for you nah to stress yo fine self, imma get you your car for easy transportation. So what do you think?" She smiled widely at me.

I. Was. Darn. Speechless.

"Ouch". I winced feelin' a slight sting on my arm.
"Sorry if that hurt buh am just helpin' you realize that this ain't some sorta dream. Its real sis." She smiled.
