I stared at the necklace he made for both of us and other things that just made me feel he was here with me.

"Can I come in?" Miss Ramony peered in my room. I quickly wiped my tears and nodded. She wasn't the only one, Ruby, Taffy,Akiylah and ma gurls.

They were all here to support me.

It brought a little smile on ma lips.
"Mommy?" Akiylah quickly ran into my arms.
"Oh baby. Am sorry. Its all my fault for doin' this to you. I shoulda known..."

"Its okay mommy, I understand because in life, some situations makes you do some things and I don't blame you for anything." I hugged her tighter.

"We here to support you with whatever you need Daya". Tammy came up beside me.
"He don't wanna talk to any of us. He ain't pickin' ma calls and..." I cut in with my hoarse voice.

"Let it be y'all. I knew it would come to this and yet, I still hid it. Ion wanna be a burden to no one. Its been three days already and I think..."

Even though it was too heavy for me to bear, I had to say it.

"...I've gotta move on." I sighed heavily. I know I've got no strength to bear with anything buh I've gotta be strong for my family, my friends, my daughter. Me bein' like this is only gon' make Aleeyah happy.

I put up a wide smile gettin' off my bed.

"Oh Daya...I wish all this wouldn't happen to you honey..." Miss Ramony hugged me and kissed me tight.
"You right sister, you need to get up when you fall." Taffy spoke firmly with tears in her eyes.

"So I think y'all shouldnt bother 'bout me, I'll be fine. I'll just pass my day at school today buh Imma make it up at work..."

"No honey, you goin' nowhere. You need rest and you gettin' it."
"Miss Ramony is right, you need it. Today is Monday anyways and you ain't got no busy schedule." Tana added.

I spent the weekends coolin' off myself, maybe one more day ain't gonna spoil nothing. Tomorrow Imma face up everyone at school.

I turned to lie down and it was only then I caught Leslie's sweater he had given. Before I could think, my hand reached for it.
It still smelled of him.Tears claimed my eyes immediately.

"Oh Leslie..." I gasped huggin' it tighter and cried my eyes out.

Frank POV.

Today finally, am gon' get ma gurl back. She's gonna be with me. I had waited outside for long and now, there's no one in the house. Once I had taken her, Imma get my daughter from her school and then we gon' get far away from here.

The thought of bein' together as a family made my heart swell in delight. That is all I've ever wanted. A family of my own.

With my baseball cap coverin' my face and me dressed up as a maintenance, I managed to get pass the security guards.
