Esmeralda's POV- September 2016

I glanced up as the lights in the room turned on. Andres laughed as he walked into the room and found me curled up on my bed watching Bones.

"Have you been awake this whole time?"

"No, I woke up about an hour ago" I told him.

I closed my laptop and watched as he placed the laptop on my desk before sitting on my bed.

"How was your orientation?"

"Long" I admitted.

He laughed.

"When does your internship start?"

"September 15" I replied.

He nodded.

"What do you want from me?" I asked.

"Come with me to get Chinese takeout"

I scrunched up my nose.

"Why do I have to go?" I asked.

"I don't want to go by myself"

"You are a 22 year old man" I stated.

"Come on, please?"

I sighed and looked at him.

"Fine, but on one condition" I began.

He smiled.

"I already ordered your veggie rolls"

"I want 4" I stated.

"I ordered you 6, so we're good"

"Let me put on my shoes" I said.

He nodded and stood up.

"Comb your hair, you're too pretty to be out in public with that hair"

I rolled my eyes and sat up.

"You sure know how to treat a girl" I told him.

"Hey now, I complimented you"

I slipped on my boots and stood up.

"Let's go before I change my mind" I said.

"You're going to comb your hair, right?"

I ran a hand through my hair and looked at him.

"Much better"

"You're an ass" I stated as I grabbed my purse and followed him out of the room.

"Love you too Emmie"

I rolled my eyes and closed the door behind me.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Uh, Alyssa had a sorority thing, and Gael is at work"

I nodded.

"Does your internship count as a class?"

"Yeah, I got it approved" I told him.

"Nice"

He held the front door open and I made my way out.

"Who lend you their car?" I asked.

He had an international license.

"Alyssa"

I nodded and made my way down the stairs.

"So you're interning for the World Cup of Hockey, but what team are you interning for?"

"Team North America" I told her.
