What's Your Name?

Jacob Sartorius.

THE Jacob Sartorius.

     Are you kidding me?! Why does he have to be the new kid? Why?! Chloe is going to freak when she finds out he goes to our school now! I don't give a crap about him, so I just sat there in my seat, kind of glaring at him.

"Hi. I'm Jacob Sartorius." Jacob said to the class, "Some of you might know me from social media."

     Half of the girls in the class screamed and squealed because they are obsessed with him like Chloe, while the other half of the girls just sat there, looking at him. The guys just ignored him, and one shouted "Loser!"
"Settle down, class!" the teacher shouted, "Jacob, please go find a seat."
     There were three open seats. Two in the very back, and one in the very front. He sat in the seat in the front, which happened to be right next to me!
     Jacob turned to look at me. I glared at him. He smiled at me, and for some reason, I couldn't help but smile back.
     He has a cute smile - wait... what am I saying?! I hate him!

     The class period went slow and all we did was review stuff we learned in the first semester. Class finally ended, and I walked out  into the hallway and went to my locker. I grabbed my science book, and just as I was about to shut my locker, my two best friends, Lauren and Sophia, walked up to me.
"Oh my god!" Sophia exclaimed, "Did you know that Jacob Sartorius goes to our school now?!"
"Yeah, he's soooo hot!" Lauren squealed.
"I know, he sat next to me in first period," I said.
"Why aren't you excited?" Sophia asked.
"I don't like him, that's all," I answered.
"Oh, well I guess he's not for everybody." Lauren said sarcastically.
"Well, Lauren, we have to go all the way across the school to get to PE, so let's go," Sophia said.
"Alright, let's go," Lauren replied.
    
     Once they walked away, I shut my locker and turned around and saw Jacob standing in front of me.
"Hey," Jacob said to me.
"Um, hi?" I answered.
"What's your name?" He asked me as he scratched the back of his head.
"I'm Sierra," I said, "and I know you're Jacob."
"Yeah, well I just wanted to say hi," Jacob said.
"Okay," I slowly replied.
"Well, I'll see you around," Jacob said as he walked away.
"See ya," I replied.
     As he walked away, a bunch of girls walked with him, making a whole bunch of noise. I can't believe Jacob walked up to me. Why would he? He didn't go up to any other girl. Just me.
     Whatever. He's probably a player anyway. After all, he has a bunch of girls to chose from since like half of the girls at our school are obsessed with him.
