     Tomorrow is the day.
The day Jacob leaves for tour.
It's Friday after school, and I am sitting in my room watching TV. Jacob didn't go to school because he had to pack and get ready to leave. He told me that as soon as he was done packing he would come over to see me. Hopefully he does...
The past 3 weeks were awful. All I could think about was Jacob leaving me. For two months. I tried to get my mind off of it, but I failed.
I heard a knock on my front door so I walked downstairs and opened it. There was Jacob. I just walked to him and gave him a hug. We just stood there hugging for a few minutes, and I knew that we were both thinking the same thing: this would be one of the last hugs we would share until he goes.
"I have to be home by 10 PM," Jacob whispered in my ear as we were still hugging.
"It's okay. We'll be okay," I answered, "I mean time away from each other is good for a relationship, right?"
"Yeah that's what people say at least," Jacob told me as he let go of our hug.
"Well, what do you want to do?" I asked him.
"I have a surprise, actually," Jacob smirked, "close your eyes. We have to walk a little ways for it."
"Okay Jacob whatever you say," I said as I closed my eyes.
Jacob took my hand and we started walking down the driveway. We turned right and walked down the sidewalk for a little ways, then turned left. Jacob led me the whole way as he held me hand.

"Open your eyes," Jacob whispered.
I opened my eyes to find us on a hill behind the park. There was a blanket laid down with a basket full of food. A picnic. How romantic.
"Jacob this is amazing!" I exclaimed in complete shock.
"I knew you would love it!" Jacob smiled at me.
Jacob and I were still holding hands, and I led us to the picnic. I slowly sat down and opened up the basket full of delicious food. I pulled out grapes and my favorite: pickles! I love pickles! I only told Jacob this once, and he somehow remembered.
"Wow you remembered that I love pickles!" I told him.
"Of course I did, why wouldn't I?" Jacob said flashing me a smile.

We ate most of our food with just some bread left, which we gave to the birds. We walked home and by the time we got to my house it was dark out. It was 8:30 PM, so an hour and a half left. Until 10, me and Jacob just went to my room and watched a movie on Netflix. I almost fell asleep while resting my head on his chest, but I stayed awake for him.
The movie was almost over when Jacob told me that it was 10. I said "ugh. Okay." He told me that he would stop by my house the next morning on his way to the airport. I walked him downstairs and to the front door. We hugged, he gave me a kiss on the cheek, and walked home.

The Next Morning ~

I woke up at 6:48 AM to a text from Jacob. It read, "I know this is early and hopefully you wake up to this text but I'm heading to the airport now so I will be over in like 5 minutes to say my last goodbye". I answered with, "I did wake up to this and I will see you in a minute!"
I ran downstairs and sat on the couch waiting for the knock on my front door. I heard it after about 4 minutes and ran to the door to open it.
I jumped into Jacob's arms and tightly wrapped my arms around him.
"I have to hurry, I'm actually running a little late," Jacob told me as he set me down.
"Okay I understand," I answered, "so where is the airplane taking you?"
"Toronto," Jacob said.
"Oh okay," I replied.
"I love you so much. I love you more than there are stars in the whole universe. I love you to the moon and back," Jacob told me as he smiled and put his arms on my shoulders.
"I love you more, and I always will!" I said back.
"You wish," Jacob laughed.
"Mhm sure," I smirked.
*Honk* *honk*
"That's my mom. I got to go. I love you," Jacob said.
"Okay, I love you too," I answered as I stared into his eyes. He was staring back into mine. We slowly moved closer until our lips touched. It was a small but loving kiss and I loved it!
"Bye!" Jacob blushed.
"Bye bye!" I smiled.
