New year, new me.

Just kidding.
Everyone says that.... but no one really changes. Everyone stays the same. Their same old selves.
But it's whatever.

     Anyway, it's January 2nd and Jacob and I have been at the apartment talking about our future together like college, the wedding, adult stuff like that.

"June 25?" Jacob asked.
"Exactly 6 months after you proposed!" I exclaimed.
"That sounds good to me," Jacob said, "what colors do you want for the wedding?"
"Hmm, good question," I furrowed my eyebrows, "what colors do you like?"
"I have no idea Sierra," he sighed.
"I was thinking maybe white and lilac purple," I smiled.
"Oooo I like that!" Jacob agreed, "we should use those colors!"
"Alright," I replied, "that was easy!"
"Well now we need to figure out who is going, where it's going to be, all of that!" Jacob whined.
"Oh don't worry about that now! We've got 6 months to figure that out," I laughed.
"True," he giggled.

     After discussing what colors we wanted for the wedding, we talked about college.
     So in March I'm supposed to start college in California, and in late February Jacob is supposed to start college in California, too. But today we were both in the living room on the couch watching a movie when Jacob says something out of no where.

"I don't want to go to college," Jacob blurted out.

     WHAT?!

"What are you talking about?!" I exclaimed, turning toward him.
"I don't need college," he stated, "I've got you."
"That's sweet but you also need an education," I told him.
"I would only be going to college for singing, and I would rather spend the next four years with you instead of with some college kids," he explained.
"Well...," I paused, "you have a point."
"You're still going to college, right?" He asked me.
"If you don't want to go, then I don't want to," I shook my head.
"So you're not going to college then?" He asked before laughing.
"I guess not!" I laughed back.
"That was a quick decision," he said.
"Eh," I shrugged.

     That was a quick decision. No college? Nope. Jacob is right. We don't need college... we have each other.

     We will always have each other.
