First Day Away From School

     I'm so bored.
     It's Wednesday. I should be at school, but too bad I got suspended. So really, I shouldn't be there. I don't really care, honestly. I can get my homework done on my computer, so it's not that bad.
     My mom is making me go outside and "play". In this generation of teenagers, punishment is getting out of your room, not going to your room. What am I going to do outside anyway?
     I guess I could draw with chalk. It's not like any people from school are going to see me.
As I was drawing pictures with chalk, I heard and saw someone walking down the side walk, walking towards me. It was Jacob. He saw my drawing of a horse - which was terrible. He looked at the drawing, then at me. He smiled.
"Nice drawings you got there," he said to me, still smiling.
"Thanks," I replied, sitting down on my driveway.
"So what have you been up to?" he asked.
"Nothing much. My mom is making me go outside. No electronics, either."
"Same. My mom took away all of my electronics, and she is going to keep my social media apps up to date. So no snapchats, but everything else."
"That sucks. Do your fans know?"
"Yeah, I posted a photo on Instagram telling them in the caption, and I tweeted a short paragraph about it."
"My mom is probably going to check on me soon to see if I'm still out here," I said as I stood up in front of him, "and she would probably kill me if she saw me talking to you right now."
"Same here," Jacob said, "well, I'll talk to you sometime when I can."
"Okay."
"Bye," Jacob said as he hugged me.
"Bye," I replied as he walked back home.

He hugged me. He hugged me! For some reason, I liked it....
