Another Good Day

"Soooo," Chloe said, "when's the wedding?!"
"I don't know Chloe! He just proposed yesterday," I chuckled.
"Well I'm going to be a bridesmaid, right?" She lifted her eyebrows.
"Of course you are," I told her.
"Okay good," she smiled, "I didn't want you being lonely up there!"
"Are you implying that I have no friends to be up there with me?" I asked.
"No I'm just kidding!" She laughed.
"Mhm sure," I snickered.

The next day Jacob went back to the studio to finish his songs for his new album, so I went to hang out with Chloe for a little bit. I don't talk to her much, but today I felt that I should spend some time with her.
We decided to see what movies there were at the theaters, and the new horror movie Rings was still in theaters, so we decided to go watch it.

"Two tickets for Rings please," Chloe said to the guy at the front who gives you your tickets.
"Chloe, I can pay for my own ticket," I whispered.
"You don't even have a job," she chuckled, "and I gotcha."
"I do have a job!" I whined, "and thanks for paying, I guess."
It's true, I do have a job. Well, a part-time job. Sometimes I work at a daycare whenever I get called in, but I haven't been there in a few weeks. This sounds really selfish, but Jacob and I share his money. He obviously keeps the money to himself, but whenever I need money, he gives me some. I'm not greedy about it, either.
Anyways... after we got our tickets, we walked over to the area where we can get food. I got a medium popcorn bowl with a Pepsi and some sour patch kids, and Chloe got the same as me except she got Swedish Fish.

It started getting scary about 20 minutes into the movie, and let me tell you, it was really scary! There were a bunch of jump scares and a bunch of death! Overall, it was a good movie.
Once the movie ended, Chloe told me that she wanted to get some food for home cause "there's nothing to eat at her house". Yeah, right. But I knew that if I didn't take her, she would complain, so I took her to Target and got her Takis, dill pickle Pringles, and some candy.

"Thank you!" Chloe said as we walked out of Target.
"No problem," I giggled.
"You're taking me home now, right?" She asked as she got in the car.
"Yeah, if you want," I told her, starting the engine.
"Yes, please!" She said.
"Alright, but it seems like you want to get away from me!" I laughed.
"No, I just can't wait to eat all this food!" She exclaimed.
"Mhmm sure," I said sarcastically before driving off.

     I dropped Chloe off, then headed back to the apartment. I walked in and saw Jacob laying down on the couch and watching TV. It looked like he was asleep, but it was at least 8 PM and he was working all day, so I understand.
     I walked over to him and saw that he was asleep. I didn't want to wake him up, so I started walking to the kitchen.
"Sierra?" He whispered.
"Hey Jacob," I said, "sorry I woke you up."
"It's fine, I was just taking a nap," he explained as he got up and walked over to me.
"Okay," I replied before grabbing an orange from the fridge.
"What did you do all day?" He asked as he grabbed my hips from behind.
"Oh, I went to the movies with Chloe and took her to the store afterwards," I turned around and put my hands around his neck.
"Sounds fun," he smirked.
    
     Him and I leaned in and shared a long, passionate kiss.

"Not as fun as that kiss," I laughed.
"Oh I bet it wasn't," he giggled.
"I'm so glad we're getting married," I smiled and looked into his eyes.
"Me too," he smiled back.
     The rest of the night, we watched a movie, then went to bed. It was a long day, but it was a good day.
