Prom Night

Tonight is the night. The night I get to go to senior prom with the love of my life. The prom starts at 7 PM and ends at 11 PM and right now it's 5 PM. I was just hanging around the house all day when I decided to get ready cause you know.... IT'S SENIOR PROM!!!
Anyway, I had my mom and my sister help me get ready. I brushed my teeth and then sat in the bathroom on a stool as my mom and sister got me ready. My sister brushed and curled my hair while my mom got prepared to do my make up. Once my hair was done, my mom started. She put on foundation, then she drew little wings on my eyelids and put on some light turquoise eye shadow to match my dress. She finished off my make up with some mascara and red lip stick.
Then I put on my dress. I couldn't zip it up myself, so Chloe did. After I put on my dress I put on my heels. Once I was completely ready I looked in my body mirror. To be honest, I think I looked hot! Jacob said that he was going to pick me up at 6:30 and it was 6:08. So I slowly and carefully walked downstairs and sat on the couch. After about 20 minutes I heard a knock on my front door. I walked to the door and opened it to find my date: Jacob. Once he saw me his jaw dropped and he was speechless.
"You- you look so... beautiful," he stuttered.
"You don't look too bad yourself!" I smiled.
"Come on in Jacob! It's time for some pictures!" My mom exclaimed running over to us.
We did a few cute pictures, then some funny ones. "You guys both look perfect!" My mom squealed, "Okay one more pose!"
After all the pictures Jacob grabbed my hand and led me outside to see a limousine parked right by my driveway! It was all black and it was awesome!
"This is so cool Jacob!" I put my hands over my mouth.
"I did it only for you!" He blushed.
"Well let's go!!" I exclaimed jumping up and down.
"Take it easy you don't want to break those heels!" He smirked as he opened the door for me. I hopped in the car and he got in next to me. I knew this night was going to be a night to remember!

     When we got there we walked in the huge gymnasium and looked around. There were so many cute couples and groups of friends! The past 4 years I was still best friends with Lauren, but Sophia and I aren't friends anymore. I don't really know why... we just aren't really friends. But Jacob and I walked over to Lauren and Sophia and talked to them for a little bit. After a while of talking and walking around we got dinner. We got punch and chips and salsa. Yeah, it wasn't much of a dinner but it was delicious!

After we ate, we just hung out and danced for another hour. Towards the end of the night, they announced prom King and Queen. They announced prom king, and Jacob won!! He ran on stage and thanked everyone for voting for him. Then prom queen was announced..... and I won!! I was so excited! I got on stage and thanked everyone for voting me and Jacob as the king and queen! Then there was the final song to wrap up the night: a slow song. Jacob grabbed my hand a led me to the center of the dance floor. I put my hands around his neck and he wrapped his hands around my waist. We danced back and forth and about halfway through the song I rested my head on his chest and he kissed my forehead. When the song ended he looked into my eyes and we shared a kiss. Man, this night was so exhausting! Standing up and dancing for four hours really does wear you out!
    
     The limo picked us up at 11 and took us to his house. He got out one side of the limo and opened the other door for me to get out. After I got out of the limo he picked me up bridal style and took us to his house and up to his room. He set me on his bed and then laid down on the other side of the bed with me. He turned on his TV but by the time he found something to watch I was already asleep in his arms.
